The Superior Queen was a practical choice because the hotel’s location made it easy to get around Masbate. I appreciated being close to places I needed to visit, making transportation and daily errands more convenient. Instead of spending too much time traveling back and forth, I could return to the hotel easily, rest for a while, and continue with my plans. What stood out to me was how convenient the whole stay felt. The room gave me a comfortable place to freshen up and sleep, while the location made it easier to explore the area, find food, and attend to errands without unnecessary hassle. I felt satisfied because everything was simple and manageable. I didn’t have to sacrifice comfort for convenience, and I was glad I chose a hotel that allowed me to make the most of my time in Masbate.

I have VIP status with Agoda and Booking.com, because I am a frequent traveler in the Philippines. This hotel is one of the most overpriced hotels I have stayed in the Philippines. The amenities are okay at best. Keep in mind this is Masbate. I have stayed in extremely nice hotels with amazing restaurants and facilities in Boracay, Davao, Cebu, Makati, Tagaytay, Baguio, etc. for around $27 to $37 USD. So the price of $50+ USD is very high. The facilities are old and not modern at all. The restaurant food is sub par at best. More of a mama and papa type restaurant. The rooms are small, but reasonably clean. The location is okay, but nothing great. They overcharge in my opinion, because they feel they are the only game in town. Also, in my opinion (and I write approximately 50 verifiable reviews a year for Agoda and Booking.com) if you are charging overpriced rates for rooms and amenities, then upgrade your facilities to meet the same standards as the 3 and 4 star 🌟 hotels in the higher cost areas of the Philippines. As well, this hotel tends to nickel and dime you for alot of things that most hotels include in their rates. Such as 30 minute early check-in and 30 minute late check-out.
