Each and every member of the hotel team we encountered was genuinely friendly, competent and efficient. This was also true of the communiction with the hotel before we arrived because we had a few questions. Our reception when we arrived was very welcoming.
The appartment was even lovlier than in the photos, it was sparkling clean, comfortable and well equipped. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. Several times per day we just sat and enjoyed it.
I am a bit noise sensitive and was pleasantly surprised that although the outdoor dining area was below our room you could not hear anything from inside the room. It is important to say that it was not very loud at the outdoor dining area when the door was open, it was just right.
Each evening we were asked to choose which breakfast we would like delivered to our appartment. It was perfect and was always brought to us on time and with very, very nice service. What a great idea.
The food and atmosphere in the main dining room were excellent . We had the half board menu and there were several options. We tried a few of the Slovenian specialties there, they were delicious. The staff in the dining room were also amazing. One gets the impression that everyone working in this hotel enjoys making their guests feel welcome and comfortable.
We enjoy going for 2-4 hour hikes. We walked less than 10 minutes to the right and were gifted with a gorgeous trail directly next to a magnificent flowing river on the left side of the street. There was snow everywhere but the sun was warm. The air is so good there. On a side note, the water in the hotel is delicious.
It only takes 15 to 20 minutes to walk into the town. A nice walk to and from the hotel.
The hotel puts care into keeping waste down to a minimum. They encourage the guests to help with this philosophy. We tried to respect this effort.
This is a special hotel.... We can highly recommend it to anyone looking for something unusual and beautiful.

The location is stunning. The view from the room is the best one I have ever seen. I was fun that the breakfast was brought to the room.
No cleaning during our three nights stay. The coffee machine was causing agony.

The Chef stayed on until 7pm and personally cooked and served us dinner. Good hospitality and initiative.
