JASNA NATUR Resort by the lake

We had an exceptional stay at Jasna Natur Resort. The staff were incredibly kind and surprised our family with two complimentary ice creams and a paddle board, which made the experience even more special. The breakfast was excellent, and the beautiful lakeside location made this one of the highlights of our trip to Slovenia.

The view was amazing and so was the location.

We found it a bit of a let down when we’d booked half board knowing that the menu would likely be more limited (which it was) but we did think they’d let us sit where we want at least. We were wrong to think that. Not only were we not allowed to sit on the decking right by the waters edge but we weren’t even allowed to sit outside for dinner. It wasn’t like it was busy in the restaurant at which point I could somewhat understand it. But when you’ve already paid for your meals upfront, it’s a bit of a let down not to be able to enjoy the view and experiences to the fullest.

We stayed at Ravna Planina for two weeks in mid-July and really enjoyed our time here. Beautiful nature, peaceful surroundings, and perfect summer weather — warm but not too hot. We went hiking and biking, swam in the lake, and even spent a night camping in a tent by the lake. The owners gave us a very warm welcome and were wonderful throughout our stay. The whole place has great potential! Another big plus is the location — it’s only about 20–25 minutes by car from Sarajevo and the Old Town. Overall, a lovely place to enjoy nature and escape the summer heat. We had a great stay!

The only thing I would suggest is improving the existing children's playground, which would make it even better for families.

The view and the Sauna.

Room was not clean, socks and cookies paper under bed and dirty towels by the sauna. Breakfast Photo's showed orange juce, but in reality you just got water with Fruit (but needed to ask extra!). There was coffee pads with breakfast but no option for Thee??? Also at dinner we asked for housewine and we were given a more expensive bottle we realized when we paid! The rest of breakfast was good.
