Welcome to Ebbing House, in south Lincoln City. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms, you and up to seven additional guests will have plenty of room to relax! You can even bring your favorite four legged friend for some beach time!

As you enter Ebbing, you'll find yourself on the second story of this beautiful oceanfront home. The deck is perfect for catching some sun while reading a book or enjoy expansive ocean views while soaking in the brand new hot tub.

The gas fireplace is perfect for chilly nights and the flat screen TV lets you enjoy a movie or some TV with your family after a long day exploring. The kitchen has everything you need to whip up a homemade meal and the open concept of the home allows interaction between the kitchen, dining area and living room so no one is left out of conversation.

There is a washer and dryer, so feel free to pack light. The first bedroom on second floor has a king size bed, flat screen TV and en suite bathroom, with a tub/shower combo. The second bedroom offers a queen size bed and a flat screen TV. There is an additional bathroom on this floor with a walk-in shower. Downstairs you'll find the third bedroom, with a queen size bed and attached bathroom with a walk-in shower. How about a rousing ping pong game or foosball match in the family game room also located on this floor.

While beachcombing in Lincoln City, search for hidden treasure, a hand blown glass float! Finders Keepers Float Fairies hide dozens of them each year, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled! The views from this high perch are incredible but there is no direct beach access here. Take a short walk or drive to the Taft District where you will find parking and beach access as well as access to Siletz Bay. The Taft District has a variety of restaurants, shops and a handful of glass blowing galleries so if you don't find a float on the beach, you can make one for yourself!

It was an excellent home. Space was plentiful. The king bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever experienced in a rental! I just wish there was a more direct path to the beach, because it sort of looked like it from the pictures. The public beach entrance wasn’t too far away though. Would definitely stay here again.

The only good thing about this house is the location. The house smelled so much like mold it was concerning. The kitchen floor is rotted and sinking and so is the side porch. The 3rd bedroom/bath is a make shift room in a very creepy and unfinished and moldy basement. Highly disappointed with this stay. The house should not be rented again until it passes a health inspection. It was one of the worst places that I have ever rented. Two thumbs down. Do not spend your money on this rental.

The deck and view were amazing. However, the house smelled musty/mildewy, especially in the basement. Bed uncomfortable. Homeless person right below the deck. Didn't feel particularly safe to go out alone. Seemed like some undesirable people congregated up the street. Glad to park in the garage, however, go down a steep flight of stairs, open the garage door, back out, close the garage door, back up the stairs, out the front door, down more stairs to get to the car. Never found the 3rd bedroom and bathroom. Was told it was in the basement but can't imagine anyone sleeping there because of the smell. We left a day early. Will not go back.

Amazing outdoor space. Updated kitchen and primary bath. Beds could use an update. We were caught of guard by the third bedroom being in the unfinished basement portion of the house but thankfully could utilize the pull out couch instead.

The view from the deck and house is stunning. This is the most redeeming quality of this house. Place was clean and looks like kitchen and bathrooms were recently updated. BUT the master bed room bed should have been replaced at least 10 years ago. It was Miserable!! For the price we paid I was shocked at the shape of it. A foam pad was put over it but that didn't not help at all. Saggy, squeaky, like sleeping directly on the springs. Many of the reviews have mentioned this and yet that bed remains. I would not stay here again until I knew that was replaced, yes it was really that bad. Other beds seemed fine. The room in the "basement" is nice but it is really just off the open garage. Not really a basement at all. Kitchen had about 15 pans, all in the same sad state. Only two pans we felt were safe to use. the rest were all scratched teflon. There was not a can opener. Not even a small hand held one. Fridge struggled to stay cold. Pretty much all of this is in the other reviews I'm reading now; seems like the host doesn't read the reviews or doesn't care to make any changes. I still gave 4 stars because really the view and deck is amazing and that is why we picked the house, but I did expect a lot more basic needs to be met for the price you pay after all the fees. (there is still a homeless shelter below the deck. I see people of commented on this way back in 2024.)

Think there are better places to stay. 2 out of 3 beds horrible (master a lumpy, taco bed, 2nd bedroom like sleeping on a board), kitchen cabinets/counter have been updated but silverware and cookware hodge podge thrift store finds. Bring your own streaming service if you want to watch TV. No screens on any windows and it was hot our first day but couldn't sleep with them open due to bugs. Things need a deep cleaning. Only saving points were view from deck and hot tub and being pet friendly. Plus with all the fees you end up paying double what's advertised. Would re-consider if the above things were fixed but not until then.

Overall, this worked for us for a one night stay but my expectations were a bit higher after seeing the photo of the deck with the beautiful view, only to stand at the railing and see a homeless camp directly under us. It made us feel a bit unsafe especially since one of the bedrooms was in the downstairs area in an unfinished portion of the basement. The best parts of this property were the hot tub and the updated master shower. The TV in the living room didn’t work but others in the rooms did and the dryer took two whole cycles to dry a small load. I think if this was more updated without the unhoused so close by, we may consider staying again for a longer time.

We arrived at 1630, a half hour after check-in. A worker was on the deck waiting for the hot tub to fill up. He was polite and apologetic saying he didn’t know we would be there so early. So our visit started out with a two hour interruption and no use of the hot tub for the first night. Later we found that the furnace would not turn on (it was turned off at the source). The mattress in the master bedroom is beyond redemption, no matter how many foam pads you pile on it. There is a broken red plastic chair on the deck that is a safety hazard. The view from the deck was fabulous and just what we wanted.

The house was clean, close to the beach, and perfect for hanging out reading and doing crafts all weekend. The reason for three instead of five stars is two-fold. 1. The fridge was not cold when we got there and didnt get cold for about 24 hours. We were concered about losing a couple hundred dollars worth of food that we splurged on for our special weekend. We were easily able to contact the property, but it was still nerve-wracking for that first night. 2. We tried several outlets throughout the house, most would not charge our phones.

There was a great view from the nice large deck. We were able to watch the whales from the hot tub!! However, the cleanliness of the home was not the best, there were spider webs and spiders everywhere. The third bedroom is in the garage and unfinished. The garage door doesn’t work, the curtains were all broken, there were no screens on any of the windows and the lawn was more of a jungle. There were not enough towels for 6 people. There were only a couple pans for cooking and they were all old and hard to cook with. No lids for the pots and no baking sheets. The deck was the best part of the entire home and desperately needs to be redone, a lot of slivers this weekend.

Most of the remotes have dead batteries so we were playing swap-aro with them. Also the dryer has something up with the timer mechanism, would not stay on long and sometimes would not come on at all. But we enjoyed our stay and would rebook this property again. Thanks for having us.

A lot of stairs for older folks. One tripped on step to bsmt bdrm and hurt knee. Could be cleaner. Nice deck and view. Nice kitchen, bathroom and living area. No propane for bbq. No dishwasher soap or cleaning supplies. Had trouble with one of the burners on the range.

This home needs to be updated. The bathrooms both had black mold in the tub/showe. fixtures old out of date. There is a homeless camp next door/ below this property. Could not greek if itc was active or not, but very concerned about that. This home needs to be update. Win not rent this again. Very disappointing

9am told I could check in at 4pm. Arrived around 5pm & house had not been cleaned. Opps! they forgot to let me know that there had been an emergency. Cleaning people nice & professional. We had to wait an hour for cleaning of the property. They did not state that one bedroom was in the basement. The bedroom was opened to the garage AND the bed downstairs was ON THE FLOOR!!! The company will not compensate me for my guests sleeping on the FLOOR in the basement!!! I paid a lot for my vacation. I will think twice or more before I rent property from you again.

This was the worst VRBO that I have stayed in. The view was beautiful, although the deck needed repair and the kitchen was nice. The windows and blinds were dirty, the master bath had black and missing grout, and the vinyl floor was coming up around the tub. The curtains were stained. The hot tub did not work and neither did the TV. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Overall a very good time. It's a beautiful view to be certain. There were a few things that should be mentioned, if they can be addressed, I don't know. 1- The TV in the living room looks like it has been melted on the back. 2- There is what appears to be a homeless encampment just off the north end of the deck, about 12' down in the shrubbery. The guy in there scared the crap out of the kids. 3- It's my fault for not reading it better, but I was under the assumption there was beach access from the property or that it was beach front. It obviously isn't. 4- The microwave doesn't work very well Everything else was tremendous and we had a fantastic time!!

Loved the location. Hot tub was clean and hot. Can't beat the view from the deck and inside the house. Open floor plan perfect for family gathering. Ping pong was a blast. Realized third bedroom was on the lower level off the garage, far from the rest of the living space. Wouldn't put littles there but worked out for us (all adults). Wished we could open and close the garage from outside. All in all loved our stay and would use again.

The location is quite amazing. We lucked out and had two sunny days with almost no wind so beach walks and hot tubbing couldn’t be better. The gas fireplace was a little cantankerous after the GFI plug tripped. We could never get the pilot light kit again. The hot tub was cold upon arrival. Neither issues were show stoppers or reason to complain. We did notice a homeless person sleeping in the trees near the beach just off the property. Never saw them but did make us feel a little uneasy. The hot tub lid wasn’t secured when we arrived and couldn’t help wondering if they had been in the hot tub between rentals. The property manager said that the city was notified but won’t do anything about it. Overall I would go back to this property again. We enjoyed our stay at this house.

nice to be able to bring dogs, but the house smells old and dingy, very muggy when first arrived, had to open windows to air out the house but no screens, was clean “enough” but able to see dust underneath the furniture, furniture looks old, beds very uncomfortable, very creepy vibes with a bedroom located in the basement, locked closet doors and a locked and closed off attic area with the light left on. nice view of beach but have to walk down the street for beach access. hot tub worked well, but no lights in or around the hot tub so very dark at night. could have probably stayed somewhere nicer for less money.

For everything that's amazing about this location there's an equal or greater disappointment inside the home. One of our party exclaimed, "that place is gross inside." -- Bottom line: Charged a premier price, got an old, beat up, neglected, filthy, poorly stocked home. Not worth the price paid. Communication with property mgmt was substandard, messaged & called without reply. The GOOD: - View, deck, hot tub, neighborhood, and proximity to the beach cannot be beat. Kitchen is updated nicely. Counters, sinks & toilets, and sheets were pretty clean. The BAD (everything else): - Very dated, old / original interiors. - DIRTY: Cleanliness was NOT ACCEPTIBLE, in any capacity. Floors (and some chairs) had sand, hair, dust bunnies, and generally appeared uncleaned in weeks / months. Stained couch. Carpets stained, severely in the upstairs queen bedroom, felt wet or greasy. Dead bugs on window sills and floors. Garage / partially finished lower level smelled damp & musty (moldy?). Half the kitchen items were dirty and required cleaning before use. - Amenities / Stocking: severely lacking. Only 2 towels per bedroom, no extras for hot tub or beach. Worst stocked kitchen of any VRBO we've ever seen: minimal dishes / silverware, NO spices or cooking oils, NO foil, plastic wrap, or plastic bags, no extra garbage bags, no scissors or pens, etc. No window screens anywhere = bugs get inside. Only 1 bathroom had shampoo, no lotion, no hair dryers. Will NOT return.

The deck view was amazing! The sunsets were beautiful and there were plenty of seats for everyone. The kitchen update was great, however it is lacking dish ware and glasses for the number of people staying (5). The rec room area was great for the ping pong and foos ball but only room for a couple players at a time. There was quick beach access to a stairwell within walking distance of the house. The home needs some maintenance, repairs and removal of old and broken furniture. Overall, our stay was pleasant but you are paying for the view from the deck!

Oceanfront was nice, surprised to see kitchen and floors had been updated. That was nice but the utensils were more than worn, the primary bathroom was disgusting. Had to spray my Lysol everytime I went in there. Bedroom was not very clean. It was an older home and not well taken care of. Entry thru the basement was terrible. Only had room for one vehicle due to flooring materials on the garage floor. Will probably not return. There are better places for the money.

The view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking! We could see the ocean and the bay. I sat outside most of the time either on the large deck or in the hot tub. The house has retro charm. It was very clean and everything worked well. The hot tub worked perfectly! The house is very private on a large lot. We enjoyed the rec room on the really rainy days. We will definitely be back!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is located in a nice neighborhood on an overlook. Our first experience was unpacking, which was a little more difficult than expected. We needed to go through the garage and up a rather steep flight of stairs with our cargo. Neither of the garage stalls were large enough to fit my parent's Tundra. So it had to be parked outside. All the floors and surfaces were clean when we arrived. We were impressed by the view overlooking the beach. On our first night the group found the beds uncomfortable. My father in particular preferred to sleep on one of the couches and did so for the rest of the trip. The following day we discovered an issue with mice/rats as we found droppings on the stove. There was some rat poison in one of the cabinets so it must have been a known issue. There was an addition to the deck started, but incomplete and taped off. The other parts of the deck were old and in weakened condition. Particularly the part off the side door which had quite a bit of bounce to it. When we were making meals we found the cookware to be in poor condition. The pots and pans thoroughly scratched. All the appliances seemed to be in working order. We didn't use the washer or dryer though. The nearby beach was nice and not overly rocky. It could be reached most easily by walking through a narrow staircase just North. There are a number of shops nearby both modern chains and local flavor. Those were nice to visit. All in all I can't say it was a good value based on what we paid and cannot recommend it.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clean, looks like trying to upgrade house. House is 3 or 4 blocks to access to beach. Had a rat!!!Got to our chips tore open and all over floor. Had rat traps (commercial grade) in house but didn't even notice them until we had the issue 2nd night of stay. Made daughter uncomfortable, she was sleeping in living room. Tried to email management when we returned home but no reply. Not happy about that or rat. We have pics. of rat chewing the linoleum under sink. If you step back from sink you can see where it was chewed. droppings in one counter by dryer and on floor by chips. fix curtains so they work!!! They are expensive. we had to roll curtains up and put over curtain rods so we had some light in place. With The lights on, it was still dark! Very roomy, we liked that. Enjoyed hot tub. There was no barbeque and place stated it had one. All in all once you have light and exterminate your rat i would recommend the place and stay again. Sorry this is not good. Don't have to post but wanted you to know I would fix these issues immediately. I would not recommend this property at this time to my friends.
