Home away from home

Beautiful cottage with all of the comforts of home. Plenty of space with cooking and washing facilities. There were two bedrooms and two bedrooms which was handy. It appeared to have central heating as it was very warm inside. Location was good, easy access to public transport and lots of great restaurants/pubs within walking distance. Communication with host was great, check in and out was really easy. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to others.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like but there are a few things to note: Access to the cottage is via a set of stairs so it was a little hard to get large cases up and down but we managed. Beds were comfortable but very low to the ground, we didn’t have trouble with this but some may. The laundry is outside. The ground is wet/muddy so you need to be careful when removing clothes from the washer/dryer not to drop them. A laundry basket would be useful. There are a number of homeless in tents next to the property but they weren’t a problem. We didn’t feel unsafe at all.

Cute, great value apartment centrally located in Dublin.

Fabulous little apartment in a terrific location in Dublin. We basically parked the car and walked everywhere during our stay. Great value for location and facilities.

The house was very warm due to the central heating. we were unable to adjust this as it was on an automatic timer, so had to open the windowsin order to cool the apartment down. However, there must have been a sewerage issue somewhere nearby, so having windows opened let in the unpleasant smell.

Good location

Very sad and a little threatening if returning home late to the premises to see tents occupied nearby. There are no facilities for people to stay there and there was quite a lot of rubbish blown about as a result.

For Dublin, there is a good relationship between price and facilities.

Very convenient location, free parking place, specious enough for 4 guests. 2 bathrooms.

For 4 guests, there were 4 body towels, but only 2 head towels and no foot towels. According to the owner, that's common in Dublin. When we asked for 2 more head towels, she brought us 1 more and 2 very little ones. No other complains.

Outstanding place to stay highly recommend

The room was excellent size. I have travelled most of Europe and this was one of my favourite places to have stayed in. We had the full cottage and free all day parking. The apartment was warm.

The only thing that was a challenge for my mum was that the beds were quite low. Other than that this property is flawless.

Das Apartment ist toll. Mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Marcela war großartig in der Kommunikation. Toll sind die beiden Badezimmer. Es waren Mehrfachstecker und Adapter vorhanden. Das hab ich noch selten erlebt.

Leider campen direkt vor der Unterkunft Obdachlose. Es gab keinerlei Probleme, aber es gab uns schon erst mal ein etwas komisches Gefühl.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Sehr sauber. Viele Sachen die nicht üblich sind in Mietunterkünften. Duschvorleger, Handseife, Zahnputzbecher, Duschbad, Shampoo, zusätzliche Kopfkissen und Decken. Touriinfos, Bücher, Adapter für die Steckdose, Geschirrspülmittel und Tabs, eine gekühlte Flasche mit Wasser, Tee und Gewürze, Kuscheldecken wirklich eine tolle Ausstattung. Die Lage ist auch super der Bus ist ganz in der Nähe und zur Dart und Einkaufsläden sind auch gut zu erreichen( Tesco und Spar). Vom Küchenfenster aus sieht man das Rugbystadion. Pubs sind reichlich zu Fuß gut erreichbar.

Vor der Unterkunft am Fluss sind Zelte in denen Flüchtlinge leben. Sie waren sehr unauffällig aber es war trotzdem komisch. Es gibt nur einen Kochtopf aber sonst ist die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet.

Prima appartement op loopafstand van centrum Dublin

Fijn appartement op een prima locatie in Dublin. Centrum op half uurtje lopen en wat dichterbij ook prima eet gelegenheden en pubs. Wij vonden het lopen juist lekker en anders kun je altijd de bus pakken. Net appartement, alles is er wat we nodig hadden, goede communicatie vooraf en tijdens ons verblijf. Prima bedden.

In de kleine badkamer bij 1 slaapkamer liep het water niet goed weg waardoor de badkamer helemaal blank stond. Dit ook terug gekoppeld aan de host, zodat ze het kunnen oppakken.

Ein gelungener Aufenthalt.

Englisch ⬇️ Eine hübsche Unterkunft, welche direkt am Grand Canal liegt. Zwei Schlafzimmer, 2 Bäder, eines sogar mit Badewanne UND Dusche. Die Küche ist voll eingerichtet. Unsere Gastgeberin hat angefragt, ob wir gut angekommen sind, was ich sehr sympathisch finde. Es gibt zahlreiche Bücher (für Regenwetter), Reiseführer, Adapter, einen Feuerlöscher und eine Brandschutzdecke. Die Docklands liegen ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und dort sind zahlreiche Cafés und Restaurants. In der Nähe die DART-Station. Zur Innenstadt gelangt man auch gut zu Fuß- je nachdem wie schnell man ist, benötigt man bis zur Grafton Street/Ecke Trinitiy College ca. 15 - 20 Minuten. Die Bushaltestelle ist ca. 3 Minuten entfernt und dort ist auch ein kleiner Spar-Laden mit Café. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft und können sie empfehlen. A lovely place to stay, located right on the Grand Canal. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one even with a bathtub AND a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped. Our hostess asked if we had arrived safely, which I thought was very thoughtful. There are plenty of books (for rainy weather), guidebooks, adapters, a fire extinguisher, and a fire blanket. The Docklands are about a 10-minute walk away and offer numerous cafes and restaurants. The DART station is nearby. The city center is also easily accessible on foot—depending on your pace, it takes about 15–20 minutes to reach Grafton Street/Trinity College. The bus stop is about a 3-minute walk away, and there's also a small Spar supermarket with a cafe there. We were very happy with the apartment and can recommend it.

Wir fanden die Heizung etwas zu warm eingestellt, dies ist jedoch sicherlich Geschmackssache. 😊 We found the heating set a little too warm, but this is certainly a matter of taste. 😊
