Close to amenities and pool as well as local restaurants. You do have to take a shuttle to shipyard beach or ride bikes. Comfortable beds, towels, dishsoap and dishwashing supplies provided. Villa could use a few updates such as paint and furniture. Balcony furniture as well. The area is quiet, close to shipyard golf course which was a plus as my son loves to playa round of golf while on vacation. Overall stay was a+. First time visiting hhi which was relaxing and stunningly beautiful. Also, we checked in on sunday after hours. All information and instructions were provided via lock box which was very helpful. Downloading the app was help to find the codes to enter to home, pool, and tennis courts. Location very good. Everything was sooo nice. The unit could use little improvement example deck, living room furniture especially couch, toilet in 2nd bath flushing weird,little painting spruce up, overall grounds and unit quite nice. Near pool was ideal ,

Should have been able to get into unit earlier. It was already cleaned. And actually we’d heard unit was empty week before us so can’t understand the reasoning in making us wait. And especially we’d been in our units at spinnaker snd needed to transfer everything including groceries and perishable things you. Since we’re owners already at shipyard should have been shown Lil more consideration

Everything felt cozy and homey. I love the fact the house was cool when we arrived. That was definitely a plus by it being muggy and very humid outside. I also love the fact we had 2 gators on our lawn when we woke up. I thought the signs posted were just for kicks. We were very excited to see that.

The only thing I didn't like was there weren't enough trash bags available. We were only given 1 extra bag for 3 nights and 4 days.

The unit was as described on the internet. Access to the pool and tennis courts was great (2 minute walk), and access to the nearest beach was equally good (5 minute drive or 20 minute walk). Unit was quiet and good for relaxing.

The A/C system stopped working, and the repairman, who arrived shortly thereafter indicated that the a/c system could not be repaired immediately, and perhaps could not be repaired on the following days because it needed a new PBC board which was not available. Additionally, the unit was out of warranty (installed in 2013), and the owners would have to approve the major repair. Apparently the unit had been problematic for some time, with multiple prior repairs. We were moved to another unit given the anticipated delayed repair time. I would recommend this unit as long as the a/c system issues have been permanently remediated.
