Stay Golden

This property is absolutely amazing! The rooms are clean, big, and I love that there are hammocks with the rooms. The food on site was delicious. We ate there every morning and lunch time. It’s reasonably priced and the staff was so attentive and took very good care of us. The pool was huge and the kids played it in everyday after surfing. It’s about 15 min walk to downtown and a short tuktuk ride if you don’t want to walk. Just so you know you can NOT swim in the ocean. The waves are huge and the current very strong. We surfed at other locations and came back to swim in pool so it wasn’t a big deal for us but for others it might be. Thank you for an amazing stay and I wish to return one day.

Really kind and friendly staff (thank you so much!!), room was clean, happy hour cocktails were great, nice pool area especially in the heat. Location was about a 15 minute walk to town.

The 6 person room had an odd layout which meant the AC was only of use in the bedroom and not the back section with the wardrobe and toilet or the front entrance with the shower and toilet. The AC in the cabana didn’t work super well but was bearable. The pool had lots of boatmen bugs but still usable. Food at the restaurant was average and could definitely be improved for the price. However all these things were fairly minor overall and I would definitely go back!

Location (close to town center but without the noise, close to beginner surf spot), staff, possibility to rent a scooter, surf equipment available, free sun-beds on the beach

The AC didn’t work properly the entire stay, electricity unstable, restaurant not tasty, late cleaning of the rooms (4pm)
