The staff were the highlight of our stay. very friendly, professional, smiling, and always willing to help. Without them, I would have rated the hotel lower. The room itself was comfortable, with a good bed and a pleasant balcony overlooking greenery.
The resort grounds are very large, with many paths to walk around, but much of the property feels neglected. Several buildings have peeling paint, and some areas feel almost abandoned. The water and spa facilities in particular did not look inviting.
The swimming pool was a pleasant surprise. It is not very deep, but the water combines natural hot spring water with cold water, making it comfortable for swimming.
Unfortunately, breakfast was the worst part of our stay. We are vegan and informed the hotel both before arrival and again the evening before breakfast. We were assured that fruit and vegetables would be available. However, there was no buffet, only fixed dishes served directly from the kitchen. We received a few slices of guava, another unidentified fruit or vegetable, and instant noodles with stir-fried bok choy, all swimming in oil. It was inedible. We asked whether any other fruit, such as watermelon, was available, but were told there was only guava. On the second morning, we simply skipped breakfast.
The hotel is also at least 15 minutes away from almost everything. This makes it quiet, but the location may be inconvenient without your own transportation.

It would be better if they have told us that some amenities are under renovation. We weren't able to use some. It would be perfect if all were available when we visited the place. I am so happy though that the place is per friendly and the staff are friendly.
