CASA MARBELLA is a gorgeous 6700 sq ft upscale luxury residence with housemom included, located 3 minutes walk to one of five private beaches in Hacienda Pinilla, one of Costa Rica's best exclusive gated private oceanside residential communities, 3 minutes from the 5 star JW Marriott , with restaurants, and one hour 10 minutes from LIBERIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ( Daniel Oduber.) This 4500 acre wild life refuge property has 3 miles of secluded pristine beaches, great surfing, world class golfing, tennis courts, pickleball clinics and courts, an outstanding horse back riding facility offering trail rides.
Nearby there are plenty of things to do ,world class fishing, zip line, ATV, scuba, snorkeling 3 mins down on our beach , turtle egg laying and hatching , howler monkey sightings often in our back yard.
There are macaws ( there is a sanctuary) walking trails as well as mountain bike trail rides throughout the development. There are mountain bikes for rent at the Tennis courts by Golf Club, 3 mins away. We offer a COMPLIMENTARY 4 hour daily HOUSEMOM to come in and make your breakfast 6x on bookings of 7 nights , part of the 4 hour house service , available also after hours at $20 p/h.

Tamarindo is 15 mins drive past the main gate offering outstanding dining for all budgets, cafes, eco tours and shops. Other restaurants are on road to Playa Negra 5-10 mins outside of gate to numerous eateries, on dirt road, new one called La Esquina for ceviche and poke..

This residence features travertine marble floors throughout, 4 master King bedrooms, an additional Queen/study for 2 , another bedroom with 2 twins and a small single room. Two masters are identical suites adjoined by beautiful balconies. overlooking the pool and our lush tropical garden. This amazing home includes 5 full marble bathrooms, 2 tubs, a spin bike room , 2 living rooms , dining room, gourmet kitchen, infinity pool, wine cellar, laundry facilities and 2 car garage. We also have a brand new Bocce ball court in the shade with lights.
And two golf carts , 4 and 6 seater at an extra discounted cost compared to outsourced ones in town , discounted again if you rent both.

With delicious food and drinks offers a spa, massage, skin and nail care , upscale changing rooms, lockers and a working Gym complete with eliptical and treadmill as well as weight machines and free weights . Beyond the Beach club is a riding facility offering lessons and riding on the beach of Playa Langosta, one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. There are walking and mountain bike trails throughout the resort and horseback guided tours into the tropical forests to see the wildlife. Furthermore we offer a world class 18 hole golf course leading to another beach as well . There are 8 pickleball courts, $10 per time or $120 for 20 x that can be used for your group . Open play Sunday Tuesday Thursday 3-7 with lights and 8-10:30 Saturdays.
Contact tennis coach for clinics or lessons, listed in our house manual .Bird watching is another favorite, with free flying macaws, parrots and other exotic birds in this wildlife nature reserve refuge. From the Beach club walk to our favorite restaurant LOLAS , on the beach within 12 mins walking distance on PLAYA AVELLANAS, our best Surfing beach. Our other favorite beach for tranquil days, lounge chairs and palapas with smaller surf and long strolls is PLAYA LANGOSTA.. not to be missed , a truly beautiful beach for early morning walks. Mansita by to the JW has a safe swimming beach perfect for the kids if you want to avoid the waves.
The JW Marriott is withn 3 minutes drive from the house open to visitors with a separate beach for non guests , pool and spa use is extra, check at admin office , offers a few restaurants and bars to enjoy for anyone.
Within the resort we have two small stores for basic items , one next to Malinches and one by the JW . try the Gelato at the JW. They carry wine beer etc within 5 mins.
Villa Real is a small village 10 minutes from our home where we have a couple of supermarkets and a very inexpensive farmers market for produce , fruit and vegetables . We definitely recommend buying your vegetables and fruit there and supporting the local community. Another good store is Simply Fresh on the way to Tamarindo.
You can also order fish on a Sunday for Monday home delivery.. let me know if you are interested. Automercado is the main American style supermarket, 20 mins towards Tamarindo. Carniceria San Martin on right side on way to Tamarindo has excellent grass fed beef and other meats like chicken. Our concierge service can help you with the orders or phone numbers.

The home was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. It was probably one of our best VRBO experiences.The Hacienda Pinilla area was beautiful, safe and everyone loved the beach club. We spent more time there than I anticipated, as the beach and pool were beautiful, and the drinks and food phenomenal.I’d like to give a huge thank you to the Ivana, Nicole and especially Loti from the concierge service. They were incredibly helpful, friendly and went out of their way to make sure our vacation was perfect. We’re still going through withdrawals from Loti’s incredible breakfasts.We’re already talking about a return trip as soon as we can!

This is a beautiful property and we loved our stay. Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing vacation with an amazing house mom and concierge to help you with planning. This was our first trip to Costa Rica. Concierge was great at helping us get our bearings. The house is in need of some minor TLC. Just a few tiles missing on the pool that are hardly noticeable and a little deferred maintenance but nothing that impacted our enjoyment in any way. We loved having the golf cart to putz around the neighborhood to the beach club and to the beaches and the JW Marriott within the greater Pinilla community. The only complaint the entire trip were more concierge oriented, not property specific. It may be the culture? It made managing costs tough. Taxes are crazy and not mentioned. Use USD and CASH. Certain items with concierge went up and up and it was disconcerting. Would be better if concierge built in some profit up front and explained taxes rather than nickel and diming and it feeling a bit sleezy. Renting the golf cart for the week is extra (felt like it could have been included in what we paid to stay in this home). The house mom in the mornings is included. We had another nice enough house mom that came a few nights and cooked.The price went from 20/hr to 25 and then 30. Grocery delivery went from 50 before to at the end 55 per time. Transport was 250 to dinner and grocery store!! Before we left I was told 40-50 taxi. Odd but overall great trip

We had a lovely stay at Casa Marbella. We were there with our family, ages 15 - 85. The house had plenty of room and was very clean. We went to the Beach Club daily and enjoyed access to all of the beaches in the area. The concierge and housekeeping teams were very helpful.

We booked this house for our annual family vacation which included an 18 month old up to an 89 year old, 11 of us in total. We asked ahead of time if they had a crib/pack n' play and a kitchen booster seat for the baby and everything was there when we arrived! Our concierge Mary waited until we arrived at 7:00pm to show us around the house and give us needed details.She booked all of our excursions for us so we could just relax and not spend time researching. She made the vacation so much easier for us and we couldn't be more appreciative. We also LOVED our sweet house mom Victoria. She made us breakfast, guacamole, cleaned, etc. Whatever we wanted, she was happy to make. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils, pots and pans; everything you need. The bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner, soap, hairdryers. Toilet paper was supplied, but only a roll per bathroom at a time. When the house mom was there she would restock as needed, but the items are in a locked closet so if you run out while she isn't there, you might need your own supplies. Just make sure she gets some out while there. Same with paper towels,trash bags, dish soap, laundry detergent. Water pressure can be low. No flushing TP, but again, the house mom will empty the garbage. The pool was lovely. We saw and heard the howler monkeys in the backyard. There were two iguanas that visited daily and one armadillo that wandered through. We had a remarkable vacation and have now have great memories of CR.
