A-frame home on top of Cowee Mountain in Franklin, Gorgeous mountain view. French provincial decor. Wrap around deck to enjoy a breathtaking view of the mountains. New propane fire pit and hammock. Main floor has dining room, living room, kitchen, guest room with full size sleeper sofa, bathroom and bedroom. Master bedroom upstairs in loft area with Queen sized bed. Additional queen bed on lower level, off main entrance with adjoining small bathroom. Perfect romantic getaway. Children welcome. .Private location in small subdivision. Heated and cooling by mini split system, propane gas, baseboard heaters and tower heaters for added comfort. Window units in downstairs bedroom with air and heat. Internet and DirectTV. Small subdivision with very little traffic on a gravel one lane road to house. Approximately 1.2 miles up the mountain to your destination Conveniently located off 441N/Sylva Road. 4 wheel drive might be necessary if there is snow which is usually only a factor in January or February. Well stocked kitched for your cooking and baking needs traditional 12 cup and Keurig coffee makers. Explore the beautiful area of Franklin and other lovely nearby towns like Highlands and Cashiers. Or in a little over an hour you can be in one of the most unique cities around, Asheville. Lounge on the deck and take in the peaceful beauty of the mountains. Beautiful areas to hike, zip line, visit waterfalls, kayaking, gem mining and white water rafting are a short drive away. Truly an outdoor lovers paradise. Come enjoy the beauty and peace of the majestic smoky mountains.

This property had a beautiful view of the mountains. It is only a 10 minute drive into town so it’s a convenient location. We had a bit of an issue accessing the lock box upon arrival, but the owner took care of the issues within a few minutes.
