The nicest family sand and sea experience that the beach has to offer. We were surprised how really close to the beach and back it is. You can peek at the beach right from the living room, the ocean view balcony or sunset rooftop deck.
The whole upper unit place was nicely beach casual and such a pleasant surprise! There were everyday opportunities for us to enjoy everything the beach house has to offer and the best of beaches too. Purely, a well thought out and fun place to stay.
Bottom line: This is the most well thought-out beach accommodation we've ever stayed at and we are already planning to come back next summer too.
The beach house includes a huge private roof deck area which is good for entertaining, safe teen spaces, private coffee morning rituals, morning yoga or meditating alongside super views of sunsets and the surrounding local beach area.
A well-worn retreat. Just kick back 'round the place as the kids spent long days on the sandy beach, ride the provided local bikes all around town and make the most of the excellent beach location.

I grew up in So Cal and I’ve stayed with my family (5 kids) at Newport dozens of times. The host was the best we’ve ever had. Very friendly, responsive and helpful. The listing shows much nicer than the actual unit. Think rustic beach cottage, vintage fixtures and furnishings—if that is your thing you’ll be happy. Tons of games, toys, beach gear. Access to beach cruisers was awesome. Mattresses were all great. A strategic update (furniture, flooring throughout, bathroom fixtures) would make it a five star place. Kitchen was over stocked, every cupboard full of dishes, no room for food. For the price the place is what I would have expected. Location (near Pavillions) is great for access to everything but it’s the busiest area of the peninsula. Street parking is tough and the garage is near full of beach gear, only the smallest of vehicles would fit in there.

Everything our group needed including quick walking access to the beach and all things to make beach time comfortable and fun. Parking was tough the first day, but was fine after that. Excellent communication with host. Thanks for a great time!

Wow This place is so perfect! Had an amazing time, perfect location and so much more than I expected. So many, beach chair, bikes, beach toys, full kitchen, even laundry soap. We definitely came over prepared. We are from Vegas and have high expectations for hospitality well Steve is the best! Couldn’t have wished for a better host.

Yes, overall everything was good. BBQ was in poor condition and we could not find any lighting for the rooftop area. Kitchen could do with some more wine glasses and less pots- too cluttered. Location was great.
