Really enjoyed staying at this cabin. We booked last minute and was surprised it was available. Property was well maintained, quiet and clean. Enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the sunrise. Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful getaway!!

This was a nice little cabin that’s good for a really small family. The only thing that we found a little inconvenient was that there was no coffee, which is fine we bought some but most places we have stayed already had it. The other thing when looking through the book is said that there were tubes we could use but didn’t find them. Maybe the book just needs to be updated.

Nice place but too far from the river and the living area is only suitable for two adults and one child. We had four adults and one 16-year-old. There was no place to sit in the living area to hang out in the evenings. It was way too small for that size of a group. We had no idea that it would be that small and no place to sit.

The cabin was a great weekend getaway for our family. It was just a couple of miles from the river entrance for our float. It was clean, cute, and so nice and quiet out. However, one of the bedrooms had trouble cooling off because the sun was pouring in the window. The second day I managed to hang a blanket over the window and that helped quite a bit. It also helped keep it dark in the morning. The bedrooms could greatly benefit from some light-blocking curtains. Overall, it was a really nice visit and I would stay at the cabin again!

Great location ! Awesome communication with property owner. This is our second visit to the property, stayed in a different cabin. Good distance from town as well and Hit Springs. Only negative was the cabin we picked this time was more like an antique store, furniture/ beds / sitting were super uncomfortable and small. Even with that we will be returning for another float ASAP

Best weekender EVER! We will definitely be back. The cabin was so beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The acreage was stunning. We floated the river with River Run Canoe & Kayak. They picked us up right at the property to float and our float ended at the cabin. It couldn't have gotten any better. We will only stay here when floating the Caddo.

My husband and I celebrated our 26 year anniversary at the Morning Star cabin. The cabin was clean, and had a beautiful view of the river. We had everything we needed. All we had to bring was our food. Property was quiet and peaceful. Our granddaughter got to enjoy the river for the first time and she loved the cabin. We will definitely be back 😊

Overall, we enjoyed the stay. Weather was great and got to enjoy a nice fire outside while watching the fireflies do their thing. Getting the TV to work was a bit of a problem, but got it going. Checklist will need to be updated. There were no trash bins next to the cabin.

The flies were awful. You need to check on something dead under the building. Cabin needs updating. A/C in main room is too small to properly cool. I had opportunity of staying in lg cabin directly in fron and was expecting that quality. I was sorely disappointed. I only get grandchildren once a year and out stat was all about killing flies!

This cabin was perfect for what I was looking for and it was realized even more upon arrival. It was so peaceful and relaxing. If you are looking for a quiet place for a couple or with a kid or 2, this is great. There is plenty of space to do things outside and just enough space inside to not be on top of each other. I highly recommend this cabin and hope to go back myself one day.

We had a blast! We took our 5yr old for all of our first Kayaking trip! Theres a shuttle from right by the cabin to the drop off and you end at the same spot! About 3 min walk from the cabin! Local food was great and friendly people in town!

My husband and I have stayed in this cabin twice. We will definitely keep returning. Just a few steps from the river, about 30 mins from Hot Springs, and only 5 mins from essential needs (gas, food, dolllar store) Absolutely love this cabin!

This is not river front cabin . It does have access to the river, but only if you walk 1/2 block in between to other cabins. Sadly , we could not enjoy the river which is why I choose this place. There was no necessities/ complimentary like coffee , Shampoo , Soap , and one roll toilet paper. The cabin would be great for honeymoon or anniversary with the description that is secluded / private and very quiet. The welcome book needs up dated . Heartbroken, because we save all year for our anniversary trip and we love the water . It is nice place, but it in NOT River front and limited river accessibility . There are great places in town to access the river and great float trip.
