Cabin on Water!!GORGEOUS! Best property on the Caddo River In Glenwood Arkansas!

Great place ! Clean , beautiful and quiet. We will be back. The only complaint is there is no wi fi and the man up the road came and asked us a million questions because we went too fast on the 10 mile an hour road . I understand his concern but we weren’t going much over 10 miles an hour and he kind of freaked me and my daughter out following us all the way to the cabin.

This cabin is perfect! It’s in an amazing location right on the river. The owners are gracious and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be back!

Wonderful Christmas week at this cabin. Everything is as described. It is very roomy. It's wonderful to open the french doors and listen to the river.

Coming from a big city it was nice to come and stay in a beautiful cabin, in a beautiful area away from the hustle of city life. The cabin was clean with lots of room. Definitely will be back for another stay in the future!

Far enough “out of the way”, but close enough to any needed amenities. We book for a quiet, check in and STAY and we did just that! Spent the whole weekend parked outside and it was lovely. We booked this cabin, my mom and brothers booked the other next to it and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thanks for having us!

It was a beautiful, peaceful trip. Gives new meaning to a nice quiet place. The grounds were beautiful. The birds were singing. The common area was great. Even though we got rained out for the river, we had a blast. Sitting on the deck in the remnants of hurricane Beryl coming through Arkansas and watching it rain, was awesome. We had the coolest weather for a hot July in Arkansas. What a blessing! We will be back!

Had a great time

This trip was a little more special! We took all the grandkids on the Caddo River to kayak. Unit was a nice getaway from hustle & bustle of our every day life. It was just as it was described. Had a blast!

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every moment of it. The property is clean and came with everything we needed. Glasses, utensils, etc. Will definitely recommend it to friends in the future and plan future trips ourselves.

We rented the property so we could all be together for Christmas! It was perfect! It was cozy and comfortable! We really enjoyed the outdoors as there was enough room for the children to run and play and the adults to have a few good games of baggo! The property owner was easy to deal with and extremely helpful! We will be back!

Beautiful cabin right on the river

Not what we expected. Beds were very uncomfortable. Not enough comfortable seating for seniors, furniture was very worn. Evidence of a previous birthday party under dining area. Poor lighting at bottom of stairs, one of family member slipped and fell. Luckily not injured. Poor supply of towels, bath tissue, soap. Outdoor grill not clean!! Evidence of of dog urine on rugs.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the cabin, the river & the wildlife surrounding the area. We will certainly be back!

The inside of the cabin was clean. The outside was very lacking. The windows were very dirty and most disappointing was the outside downstairs where the grill was So nasty and yucky. The burners on the grill are rusted out and only partially worked. Too nasty to sit out. The yard should have been cut a week before we got there. The view was good from outside but it’s really dirty. I took pictures but can’t find a place to post.

Nice place and pretty quiet

We had an amazing time at River Ridge cabin. Firstly, the drive to the cabin area was beautiful with the surrounding Myrtle trees and foliage. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The cabin was very clean inside and had all the needed items. The bedding was soft and comfortable and the mattresses felt pretty new. The walk-in showers were fantastic with good water pressure and plenty of room. There is much to do both in the area or the 40 minute trip to Hot Springs. We were expecting to have to buy groceries in Hot Springs Walmart but there is no need at all. We visited the local Wrights grocery store and it’s a full-line grocery store with some of the nicest people we’ve met on vacation. Even our teenage girls commented on how nice they were. There is plenty of space for the family to hang out and we had several game-nights. The loft for the teens was a hit! The deck is amazing for morning coffee and evening wind-down. We didn’t use the fire-pit because our visit was during the heat warnings but the setting is perfect with a recently added bench. Also there is a shared sitting area and stairway down to the river. That area is huge and could be great to gather if a couple families were staying at other cabins. We were close enough to other cabins to not feel secluded but far enough away that we really didn’t realize they were there. We had a great view of the river and it was nice watching the kayakers and our sun-bathing turtles. River Ridge is in our Top 5 cabin list.

We enjoyed ourselves again at this cabin!! The owner is always accommodating and hospitable. It is a great location and we truly enjoy it!

Gorgeous views with somewhat challenging river access. The general feel was "better than camping." If you're a light sleeper, the beds squeak, but overall a great experience.

We enjoyed the location and cabin very nice and the only probkem was the beds downstairs were very uncomfortable and the couples in these room didnt sleep well both nights. There was also mowers there the first night mowing and weed eating as we tr I ed to relax on the back deck. They weee t there for at least 1-2 hours that eveni g.
