Location, location, location! Neil's place is located near everything! You can walk to the bay, restaurants and a coffee shop. Many nature hiking trails for birding close by, beaches are aand 35 mile drive to The Hearst Mansion in San Simeon. If you are a golfer, check out The Morro Bay Golf Course. Well maintained course with incredible views!The house was clean with a well stocked kitchen to cook. Beds were very comfortable and the back yard was secure for my dog. It was nice to have a couple of folding chairs to take to the beach and beach towels. The area is very safe with a lot of families in the neighborhood.

My spouse and our two dogs had a wonderful stay at this property. The owner was always available with activity suggestions and responses to our inquiries. The home is as represented in listing and photos. The Baywood area has a nice community feel and is walking proximity to neighborhood restaurants, the local coffee house, the MerryMaker Bar, the Calawala Bakery, the weekly Farmers Market and more.The home has easy parking for 2-3 cars. The home has a comfortable open living area and kitchen which was equipped with everything we needed to cook nice meals. We enjoyed the Santa Maria grill in the backyard as well. The fenced backyard made having our dogs there easy. We enjoyed games of darts in the converted garage.The beds and bedrooms were comfy. We had another couple join us for a few days and the house accommodated us all nicely.We hiked and kayaked and explored the surrounding communities, both north, south and east of Los Osos. We were there for 3 weeks and could’ve stayed longer! A delightful little home in a delightful place.

Perfect location to take in all of the area .Walk to the bay restaurants and coffee houses 10 minutes from morro bay . I love the antique shops in Cayaucos Pismo 20 minutes up the road Great hikes all over the place. Ill be back. Thanks for the stay

Very clean rental. Bed was comfortable. Shower with good water pressure. Fenced in back yard with lots of space. Great for our 2 little dogs. Check in and out process was straightforward. Location was great. 10-minute drive to Morro Bay. Elfin Forest is .8-mile walk. Cafes are about a 10-minute walk down to beach. Would definitely book again when in the area.

The home was clean and mostly comfortable. One of the beds was very uncomfortable. The immediate neighborhood had a lot of dogs and some seemed to like to bark at night.The host was very nice and helpful.There was no associated winery.The listing stated there was a hot tup. None existed.

This was the perfect place to stay with our 2 small dogs! The large, secure backyard was perfect. It was difficult to find a place with a fenced yard IN the town of Morro Bay that didn't break the bank. Easy check-in, good communication, comfortable beds... we WILL be back!

We had a blast with our small family. Our dogs and daughter enjoyed the walkable activities, comfortable beds, and access to kitchen items. It was perfect for our family. The garage was a bonus hangout spot, the backyard was great. Neighbors were quiet but friendly. We loved the Santa Maria grill and Scrabble most!

Good quiet neighborhood. Nice neighbors. Extremely comfortable beds. Comfy furniture. Great backyard for our dog. Owner provides paper towels and toilet paper plus your shampoo, conditioner and soap. A nice selection of spices and olive oil plus coffee and sugar/sweetners and coffeemate. Washer and dryer plus laundry detergent also provided. We hope to return again this Spring for another stay!

We loved our stay. Neil is the most amazing host ever and even helped us finding a sitter for our dog. So we can see Hearst Castle. The backyard is magnificent, the beds super comfortable and I fell in love with the shower. We will come back!

This home had all we needed for a great vacation, and even more! The home had great appliances, soft comfy beds, couch and 2 recliners to sink into while watching tv. The bay was a short couple of blocks away to stroll to. The owner is super helpful in sending tips on what sights to see (Farmer's Markets!!) Beautiful back yard with bbq's and lots of seating outside. Awesome place, we can't wait to go back!

My wife and I and our two corgis spent three wonderful days in Baywood Park. The house is clean and had plenty of room for our needs. There is an enchanting backyard that we spent a fair amount of time in as well. The dogs loved it and so did we. The place is about 4 blocks from the bay and nearby dining options. We enjoyed morning breakfast at the Nautical Bean, dinner at La Palapas and had a great calzone at Nardonne's. The place is a short drive to the Elfin Forest which was a fun hike and a slightly longer drive to Morro Rock and shopping and dining. Lastly, we had a delicious meal and a great hard cider at the Olde Alehouse in Los Osos. It was a fun trip.

Great stay! Nice little house with all the comforts of home. Neil allowed us to bring our furry family and it was absolutely perfect for them! I’ve got a couple of old Rescue girls that travel well,but need the calm vibe of a home vs the hustle of a hotel. The back yard is fenced and beautiful. Easy to clean up after the dogs were out there. We cooked a few meals there and everything you’d need was there for that(even some basic condiments in frig). Found some great new friends at one of the local ale houses in town. Truly was a perfect visit to the Central coast! I hesitate to leave such a great review as I want to go back and not have it booked! Lol!!

We had a great stay at Neil's home. Home was very comfy and looked recently remodeled and updated. Not too many homes have a built-in fire suppression system, but this one did! Beautiful and relaxing backyard, with your choice of 3 BBQ to use. Overall, everything you need will be in this house for a comfortable stay at a great location.

Amazing stay!

Amazing stay!

We had an amazing time staying at Neil's place. The house was the perfect size for the four of us and our two small dogs. Speaking of dogs, Neil's was one of the few affordable dog-friendly places in the SLO area. The backyard was absolutely beautiful and had three different grills to cook up anything our hearts desired. Awesome! It made for a perfect place to relax and unwind after our adventures around Pismo and Morro Bay. We really appreciated how clean and comfortable the place was as well. It had modern amenities with a nice touch of charm. The beds were super comfortable and we slept like babies. We also loved the converted garage room! The proximity of Neil's place to bars and restaurants was great as well. He provided us a list of some of his favorites and they did not disappoint! We had a great time at Merrimaker Tavern and Beerwood. During the day, we checked out The Olde Alehouse. Great live music and incredible food. One of the best parts of our stay was how accommodating Neil was. He was always very responsive to our messages and extremely friendly and helpful. We accidentally left some items at the house and he shipped them back to us at no charge. Now THAT is an awesome host. Next time we are in the area we will definitely be staying at Neil's!

The place was great. We were there to kayak and the place was perfect. Dinner in the back yard was great. Well stocked , both in terms of cooking implements as well as having condiments. The only reason I did not give it five of location as it is in a development which worked for us. Everyplace we wanted to go was within 10 minutes or less. Neil was easily reachable and helpful.

We couldn’t say enough good things about this house and our experience overall. Amazing location, great house fully equipped, and just a perfect spot for a vacation. Amazing running trails, so close to the beach and lots of restaurants nearby. Not to mention Neil is a great host and everything was so easy. We can’t wait to go back.

Property was very nicely located and accessible to water for kayaking. House was clean. Garage was great for storing kayaks and other gear. Backyard was great for our dogs. Nice swing to relax. Used gas bbq twice and that was nicely maintained: not rusted out and with clean grill. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Overall great time, and would stay again!

First of all, communication with Neil was the best experience we have had in renting a property! Fabulous host. Property was clean, with comfortable beds and all the goodies you need. The game space in the garage was a blast, and the yard was heavenly. Los Osos is a gem of a town, and this house is the same. Will return for sure!
