About this house rental
Welcome to The Village at Bear Trap Dunes Resort community. Enjoy this newly renovated single family home rental with new flooring on the 1st and 2nd floors and beautiful new quartz counter tops. The house is across the street from the tennis courts and one of the closest to the main pavilion in all of Bear Trap Dunes. An easy walk to whatever activity you want to do in the Village including the indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, saunas, fitness center, tennis courts, golf course, basketball court, clubhouse, restaurant, and beach shuttle. A pass is required for anyone four and older to access to the amenities and can be purchased at the Pavilion (1 October Glory Ave) on a weekly basis. Cost varies based on the season, usually $55 during peak season and $25 off-season. During peak summer season (mid-June through Labor Day weekend), only 7-day Sat to Sat rentals are available.
If you have a very large group of family and friends, you can also rent our 4 bedroom and 3.5 bath home at 22 October Glory Ave (dog-friendly) right next door for a combined total of 9 bedrooms. It is also listed on VRBO, listing # 926557. Houses at 23 and 36 October Glory Ave are also dog-friendly and available for rental, listing #s: 2185255 and 1875548.
Our home offers first and second floor front porches, screened-in porch and open sunning deck in the back, and a private backyard. We have a Traditional Charcoal and a Gas Grill and several tables and many chairs for outdoor lounging. You will enjoy a fully-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, free WiFi, TVs, DVD players and stereos throughout the house and many books for your reading pleasure as well as toys and games for children of all ages.
The main floor of the house offers two bedrooms and two full baths. The master bedroom has a king size bed with the master bath offering a jacuzzi bath tub, separate shower and vanity area with dual sinks. The second downstairs bedroom has a king bed with a bathroom that has a bathtub/shower combination. There is a half bath in the downstairs hallway.
The kitchen has a breakfast bar with seating for three and the dining area seats eight with an additional bench seat for more seating if needed. The dining area has an exit via sliding glass door to a screened-in porch and deck areas. The screened in area includes an outdoor table that seats six as well as additional chairs for the screen porch and another table and chairs on the deck. The family room with gas fireplace offers comfortable seating and a 55'' Flat Screen HDTV.
The master bedroom with the king size bed has a 37'' flat screen TV. The other four bedrooms all have a 24'' flat screen TV with integrated DVD player.
Laundry room with full size washer/dryer and laundry tub connect directly to the two car garage. The second floor has three bedrooms and a full bath. The first upstairs bedroom has a queen-size bed and a large walk-in closet with a port-crib provided for your convenience. The second upstairs bedroom has two bunk beds - one is a twin over full plus trundle and one is a twin over twin, and the third upstairs bedroom has one twin bed. There is also a queen inflatable bed provided for your use in case you need it. Upstairs full bath has a tub/shower combination and vanity area with two sinks.
Linens (sheets and bath towels) are included (a $200 value if rented separately). Blankets are available in the house and need to be washed prior to departure or you are welcome to bring your own items for use during your stay. The garage is equipped with 10+ beach chairs, sand toys, boogie boards/skim boards, multiple adult and youth bicycles, and a cooler on wheels for a great day at the beach.
Ideal for multiple families. Small, hypoallergenic dogs will be considered depending on the dates. The minimum age for renting this house is 25. Does not accommodate high school or college student groups.
Located just two miles west of Bethany Beach, ten miles south of Rehoboth, and seven miles north of Ocean City, Maryland. There is plenty of TAX-FREE shopping at the many outlet shops in the area. Beyond all the amenities available at Bear Trap, you can also enjoy all sorts of fun, family activities in the area including water parks, mini-golf, go-carting, kayaking, bowling, nature center, amusement rides, etc. Restaurants vary from boardwalk pizza, fries and subs to fine dining.

Well located near the pool, tennis courts, and bus stop for the beach shuttle, the house is comfy, well stocked, and has plenty of beds, a back porch with BBQ grill, and many TVs! Janet is a very thoughtful and accessible host!

Spacious home in nice , quiet neighborhood, close to Bethany Beach and many grocery stores and beverage outlets. Only 3 miles to the beach and boardwalk and 30 minutes to Ocean City, Md. House has all of the amenities that we have at home. Gas grill and all of the beach toys and bicycles were a plus. Great communications from owner. We really enjoyed our stay. Great time visiting and relaxing on the screened porch. We hope to return in the future.

This was a well stocked home in a great neighborhood. The manager is very responsive. Overall the home is well kept, just a couple areas the home needs some TLC but overall a great stay. The bikes and gear in the garage need an overhaul soon if they are offered as amenities, the brakes don't work on some of the bikes, tires were low, little wagon has damaged wheels, etc. Either toss or replace.
