Charming home on Balboa Island!

This beach bungalow was so perfect, and we hope to return soon. The kitchen was the most well-equipped I’ve seen with a Kitchenaid mixer, a salad spinner, real knives. Jill made it feel like we were welcomed into her guest home, so personable and thoughtful. The linens and beds were comfy. Lots of room for lounging on a delux sofa by the fireplace. My favorite was the courtyard which held two giant jade plants and palm trees. I wanted to just sit with friends and hang out in the sunshine in that private outdoor space. Jill was more than accommodating and very easy to reach if we needed anything - we didn’t because it was all there! And the location can’t be beat. Great for strolls around the island or shopping on the Main Street. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and a delux grocery store around the corner. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at this clean and nicely decorated house. It had all the comforts of home with all the kitchen appliances, pots, pans and utensils you need. A very comfortable bed/bedroom and daybed. One bathroom had a shower and the other bathroom a shower head and a bathtub which I always indulge in a good hot bath after a busy day walking around. We especially enjoyed the privacy of the enclosed courtyard with a table and chairs where reading and drinking a glass of wine by the outdoor fireplace was relaxing. This home is within walking distance (just a block or so away) from the cute and quaint little town with souvenir shops, clothing boutiques, restaurants, delicious ice cream and frozen bananas on a stick, a museum and a grocery store to name a few of the variety of places to go. We loved that some of the shops were open until at least 7:30 pm not to mention the restaurants that were open late. I often walked to town by myself at night and felt totally safe and secure.We enjoyed walking around the beautiful, calming and serene neighborhood that went around the bay and a quick and easy walk to the ferry where we caught a short ride to the Fun Zone and enjoyed ourselves there before catching the ferry back. This was our first trip to Balboa Island and our first stay at this lovely home but hopefully not our last! We will be back and will recommend it to family and friends.

This was our second stay at this home on Balboa Island and it was, once again, wonderful! The home is fully equipped and very quiet and Jill was welcoming and available. We love Balboa Island and enjoy being there during the Christmas boat parade week...walking, seeing the decorated homes and boats. Highly recommended!

Rental home better than photos. Very high class area about 15 minutes from Laguna Beach and closer to scenic Corona Del Mar which has great beach area and beautiful homes. Rental has good modern kitchen, 2 good TVs, 2 modern bathrooms, and is one block from great shopping street with many eateries. And best of all is in the middle of hours of walking around multiple canals with scenic homes and boat along them.
