Simply perfect!

Rex, Uschi, and Oreo are the perfect hosts! From the moment we arrived to the day we departed we were made to feel so welcome, and nothing was any trouble. We had the penthouse apartment, which was extremely well appointed, lovely large rooms and comfortable beds. My wife particularly enjoyed the little 'snug' bedroom beyond the bathroom (I snore, loudly). Breakfast was fantastic, with various bread rolls, croissants, meats, cheeses, and even smoked salmon! Eggs to order too, I loved the scrambled eggs and bacon. Coffee was delicious too. We have to say though, the highlight of our stay at Die Grüne Bettlad was Oreo the dog, such a character and a lovely boy with THE BEST ears! He joined us daily for breakfast and it put a big smile on our faces to start the day! Thanks for such a wonderful stay, we thoroughly enjoyed it, and it capped off a fantastic trip perfectly.

Perfection exists!

Excellent location in the city and close to Baden Baden, very calm place, comfortable room with excellent mattress, good breakfast and delicious coffee, renovated with fine materials, owners are very polite and friendly. Everything was perfect and we are looking to come back.

Best B&B experience to date, superb host and breakfast!

Hosts are really hospitable and are genially interested in your plans and come with good advise. Room was really amazing as was the superb breakfast (loved the scrambled eggs!)!

A perfect bend of historical and traditional infrastructure with a top class modern facilities. We loved it. Best part of our journey was to be hosted by such an amazing owners with a very friendly attitude. We felt at home. Breakfast was really good (request for omelette).

I like it

The hotel is not big, cozy, in the courtyard there are hundred tables where you can drink coffee or beer. Very good, quiet location in the city center. Very friendly hosts. The breakfast is very good, varied, the breakfast time will be agreed with the guest of the hotel. The room is clean, good toiletries.

The location is in middle of the town but quiet (no car noise!)

Breakfast was great!

Unfortunately on the opposite side of the street there was small party of younger people so there was noise till midnight, but after that it was totally quiet. The rooms which are on the courtyard have not this problem. BTW we were upgraded and got the penthouse which offers two single beds on the courtyard side. So that noise from the party was a non issue for us.

Good location, tasty breakfast, beautiful building.

Thick uncomfortable pillows, couldn’t sleep well. Our room request wasn’t met: we’re woken up by noise from the dining area at 6:50 am.

Its a vintage hotel which underwent an overhaul in 2010s. Loved the historical fascade and the modernised interior. Owners are very friendly and personal, always ready to make your stay more comfortable.

Beautiful hotel with lovely owners

Lovely owners, super kind and helpful. The hotel itself has been thoroughly and tastefully renovated, creating a beautiful blend between traditional German architecture and modern, bright and open spaces. Breakfast was delicious and our room was fantastic. We would happily stay here again!

Uschi and Reex are amazing hosts who make you feel at home. State of rooms and internal facilities is fantastic - I wish I had such bathrooms in my house! Excellent breakfast adjusted to your wishes and orders. Looking forward to future opportunities to stay with them.
