Ski in - Ski out Slopeside. Best affordable location within the Big Sky Resort base area. Family friendly environment with a great lounge area to play games by the fireplace. Large pool and spa area with updated workout equipment. Our unit has updated furniture in the living room and bedroom. The unit sleeps 2-6 people with one bedroom, pull out sofa bed and a murphy bed, and two full bathrooms. All mattresses are new. Full kitchen so you can create a warm family vacation. Walk to the chair lifts year-round. Ski 5,800 acres in the winter months, or enjoy scenic lift rides, hiking, mountain biking and ziplining in the summer.

Very nice place for a weekend ski trip. One main bedroom, hideaway wall bed and pull out catch was comfortable for 3 adults (2 full baths).Convenient to ski in/out.Good kitchen. Clean. Would stay again.

Place is as advertised. Haley is super responsive to any questions or issues that may arise. Master bed and Murphy bed had good mattresses. The pull out couch mattress is like most pull out mattresses and has little support so was not used. The couch itself was comfortable for sitting or napping. Kitchen was well appointed with necessary pots, etc. and we cooked meals every day. Would definitely recommend is you want to walk to the lifts. Stay was even better as it snowed every day we were there. Woohoo.

My family of four had a lovely visit to this property. It is well maintained with a nice kitchen, great beds and clean bathrooms. The location is absolutely perfect for both skiing and apres activities. Diane is a great hostess who responds quickly to any questions. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed the condo. The Murphy bed and pull out couch were great for our 15 and 17 year old boys. The kitchen was well appointed and the condo was in close proximity to the lifts and apres ski. Diane was easy to work with and to communicate with.

The Shoshone could not be more convenient for a family skiing at Big Sky. Love this building. We’ve stayed here twice before and when we couldn’t book with the hotel we were very grateful to find this condo in the Shoshone bldg on VRBO. It is so close to the lifts, very convenient to the Mt. Village. There were some nice touches as compared to booking through the resort— the condo had games for my kids which they loved. That said, if I had the opportunity, I would book through the resort next time. The closets were full of cleaning supplies and/or locked so it was hard to find space for our ski boots and there was nowhere to stash our suitcases (which makes it tight when you have a family of 5 in there). As others have noted (but I failed to read through all reviews) there was no toilet paper, dish soap, sponge, garbage bags. The building doesn’t provide you all of the amenities we were used to from past stays — which we knew going in, but it still wasn’t optimal. That said, the location and conveniences of the Shoshone trump everyday. We had a great ski vacation!

Rented this property for an Archery shoot at the resort and it was perfect location to walk to everything. Would definitely recommend.

Only issue was that we were not allowed to use the laundry services because we did y oil through the hotel. The hotel manager refused the laundry services and I even offered to pay. We were told that we needed to drive an hour away to do our laundry even though they had laundry services at the resort.. We stayed a week and were forced to do our laundry in the bath tub. The front desk and hotel manager need to take a class on customer service… So keep in mind they will not let you use the laundry services but they will let you spend your money on everything else in the resort.. The room was real nice and the surrounding area was beautiful….

Everything about this condo was great & just as advertised. Even included some extra appliances/ utinsels in the kitchen making stay-in meal prep much easier! Only confusion point is how & where to empty trash. Because this rental is via VRBO and not directly through Shoshone, the main desk will not provide any way to dispose of garbage and owner's instructions were also not completely clear.

This was a great spot for our family of 4. Having two bathrooms was huge as was the full kitchen. The convenience of being in the village couldn’t have been easier for starting and finishing a ski day. Would stay here again without hesitation!

We had a great stay in Big Sky with our family of 4! The unit was plenty roomy with the murphy bed and pull out couch. We loved having access to the pool and hot tub after a day of skiing. Diane was great to communicate with during our stay. You can't beat the location, walking out and getting on the slopes!

This rental was great. It’s through a private manager separate from Big Sky ownership, but she was easy to deal with and responsive. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Very good location. Very Short walk to the ski lift.

The condo location and layout were perfect. Our family of 4 loved the short walk to the lifts and restaurants. My kids loved the pool. Having 2 full bathrooms was great. The condo was very clean and Diane was excellent with communication. Would stay there again if headed back to Big Sky.

Diane’s condo was the perfect landing pad for our group of six during our trip to Big Sky. Kitchen had all amenities needed including a crockpot which was huge for us as a group - chili post skiing was excellent. Condo was clean and well appointed. Communication with owner was great during our stay, as we needed assistance with the automatic lock, but Diane quickly remedied for us. Would stay again.

This was the second place we have rented when visiting Big Sky, and I must admit my family and I enjoyed our stay in this condo more than the large house we rented previously that was also listed as ski in/ski out. The location for this condo was a true ski in/ski out even for snowboarders (which is rare) but very important for my snowboarders. The unit was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was very convenient to restaurants and there is even a small café where we could get breakfast sandwiches. On top of this, Diane was extremely helpful in answering ALL of my questions. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Big Sky!

We had a wonderful stay at Big Sky resort. The resort was VERY clean, offers so many things (we have 3 boys ages 12-17 and they had everything they needed) and the employees are very friendly and so helpful anytime we had a question. The condo was perfect - clean and had lots of supplies in the kitchen. Diane was welcoming and friendly and answered all of our questions very quickly upon arrival. We will cherish the memories made and would go back in an instant if given the opportunity.

My complaint re the rental of this property is that we were not given the Unit Number of the condo by the owner in our correspondence nor were we given the code to the parking lot we were required to park in. Thank goodness I was able to contact owner by phone upon checking into Big Sky Village. My other complaint is associated with the lack of supplies in the condo. I.e.. no trash bags furnished for kitchen, no sponge for clean up, 1 dish towel for whole week and 1 roll of toilet paper in supply cabinet. We bought tp at market in Village for $15 for 4 rolls! I realize the owners may not be aware of the housekeeping shortcomings. Other than these inconvencies. We were very happy with the unit and amenities associated therewith.

The location to Big Sky ski resort was fantastic. Easy walk to Ramcharger and Swift Current lifts. The condo was well stocked with dishes, pans, etc. All the beds were comfortable. Great space for our family of four

Our first trip to big sky. The property was great, a short walk to the slopes. The room big for a 1bdrm, we had 4 small kids and they all crashed on the Murphy bed & couch for the week. They loved the big spa and outdoor pool. The staff was very accommodating, my battery even died and they helped jump start my rental. The bellmen were great and would drive you anywhere in big sky you needed to go.
