With beautiful views of Andesite and the invaluable location with ski-in/ski-out, you don't want to miss this beautifully decorated condo! The Shoshone Condominium is conveniently located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village. Sitting at the base of the iconic Lone Peak, the Shoshone is ski-in/ski-out and less than 100 yards from the main Big Sky ticket window, retail, restaurants and grocery store. The Shoshone fitness center is complementary and includes an exercise room, heated outdoor pool and indoor hot tub, and is adjacent to the Yellowstone Conference Center and Huntley Lodge and restaurant.
This 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo sleeps 6 with a king master bedroom, a murphy bed and sofa sleeper. The open concept living room/dining room/kitchen area allows for everyone to spread out and socialize. The kitchen, with a dining table that seats 6, is open and has everything you need to cook breakfast before heading out for a day of adventure!
In the winter, Big Sky Resort offers “The Biggest Skiing in America” for experts, kids, and everyone in between with 5,800 skiable acres, 4,350 feet vertical drop, and average annual snowfall of 400+ inches. It's not just downhill that is superb, cross-country skiers are invited to the historic Lone Mountain Ranch, voted #1 Nordic Ski Resort in North America with over 85 kilometers of groomed trails through the wilderness. Positive notes it is a great location. Negative is that it could use some sprucing up. Moldy shower curtain in master bath. Update to glass doors as nobody likes a moldy shower curtain. Mold in the stand alone shower in guest bath. Kitchen was sparingly equipped. There were cabinets that were completely bare. Kitchen items were thrown into cabinets haphazardly. We were not notified until after we booked that we were not allowed to use the luggage carts. This made checking in and out with our ski equipment and luggage difficult. This should be in the description of the property so this is not a surprise.
