Four Bedroom, two bathroom cabin at the base of Mount Princeton
This renovated four bedroom, two bath house is nestled at the base of Mount Princeton. This getaway is secluded on two plus wooded acres and sits at an elevation of approximately 8900 feet. As you approach the cabin, you'll notice an amazing 1000+ square foot deck. Perfect for relaxing, grilling and enjoying the spectacular views. Or maybe dining al fresco with a quiet cup of coffee as the sun rises. There is plenty of seating with two large tables on the deck. You can cook outside in our four burner gas grill. We also have two custom built Adirondack chairs to relax and maybe read a book. There is a stone deck below that has an outdoor gas fire pit and is partially covered to get away from the mountain elements. By the fireplace we have seating for two and a Hammock chair that you can swing on. There is string lighting on the patio to enjoy your relaxing quiet nights. The kids love it.
While here, you'll enjoy true Colorado cabin living. It is the best of both worlds, as you'll be privately secluded in the trees but yet close to many amazing locations and attractions. The cabin is short drive to beautiful hiking trails and picturesque reservoirs. The home is just under 8 miles to downtown Buena Vista, CO and twenty five miles to downtown Salida, CO. A quick four mile trek to the famous Mount Princeton Hot Springs and the amazing Chalk Cliffs. Several river rafting companies are within a ten minute drive and the Arkansas River. It is a forty mile drive to world class skiing at Monarch Mountain, fifty mile drive to Ski Cooper.
The main level of the home features a spacious living room complete with a wood burning fire place with a 55" smart TV. There is an extra large dining room table and additional seating at the kitchen bar. The kitchen appliances are all stainless steel, with a glass top stove, granite counter tops and a large farm house sink. The full bathroom is complete with a shower and bathtub. Master bedroom includes a queen bed with ample closet storage. The other main level bedroom (#2) features a full bed and also has plenty of storage. The bathroom on this floor is situated between both bedrooms.
The lower level of the home has two additional bedrooms and another bathroom. Bedroom (#3) has a full bed. Bedroom (#4) has a full bed with a twin bed that pulls out underneath. Every room has a dresser for storage. The bathroom on this floor is situated between both bedrooms. The family room has a wood burning stove and a game table. This room has a futon that turns into a full bed. There is plenty of storage for your ski and hiking equipment.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was perfect for our family to gather for my nephews wedding in the area. It is very beautiful there and comfortable. Everything was ready for us. It was nice to be able to cook meals and not have to eat out.

Property was awesome. It was clean, spacious, and everything worked properly. Our group could not stop complimenting the home. Location and access was easy. Owner provided clear and thorough instructions. View from the huge deck was awesome. The wives only complaint was that the bedroom doors squeeked, otherwise they loved the kitchen and bathrooms. Bedrooms were spacious and clean. This property scores higher than 5 stars. I would recommend this to everyone we know.Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home, we made memories that are going to last a lifetimeHector H.
