About this house rental
This home is on the Main Canadian Lake on a lot and 1/2 with 175' of lake frontage. CL is a private resort area with 11 square miles of rolling hills; 700 acres of all-sports lakes with five beaches, three golf courses, tennis courts, pickel ball, softball, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, disc golf, campground, music pavilion, airstrip volleyball and sledding hills. Because it is a private resort only owners can launch their watercraft on the all sports lakes.

We have been coming to Canadian Lakes for a few years now and this weekend did not disappoint. Our stay was outstanding. The house was glorious and the view of the lake from the deck was like a screen saver. Elaine had excellent boat rental and golf recommendations and was a great help. She went way beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Thanks Elaine and Canadian Lakes for a wonderful weekend! We will be back, Dan

This is our 5th year staying at Elaine’s beautiful home for our annual golf trip, and we always enjoy our stay. It’s a great house in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The home is sparkling clean, very well maintained and equipped and has plenty of room for 6 of us to spread out. It has a beautiful deck with a great view of the lake and we enjoy morning coffee and relaxation there. Beautiful kitchen has everything and more that you need for meal prep. Elaine is a great host and is always quick to respond to any questions we might have.

Great stay short notice to book since another property double booked and canceled on are 8 man golf trip. Elane the property owner was so nice and helpful to book us at her beautiful property with great accommodations much appreciated!!!

I will say first of all the property is as advertised. It’s a beautiful home great location with all amenities as described.A negative side of our trip was going without a dryer for the whole week because of mechanical issues with the machine. On top of that we had only two days that the oven worked during our stay because of a defective thermostat.The owner tried to make the best of the situation by having a repair man scheduled, but he could not fix the problem in the dryer. Going in the lake two or three times a day for our grandkids made for many wet towels that could not be dried. Spending time at the laundromat on vacation is not ideal. After speaking with the owner numerous times about our disappointment, she was very frustrated with all the issues she’s having at her rental and finally perceived my frustrations and offered one day of a refund. One of the challenges we have had is determining what the lake is like when you book a property like this. There is a wonderful dock at the property that our grandkids enjoyed jumping off of. The lake had churned up weeds because of all the boat action that’s going on every day from 10-6 except on Thursday which is a no wake day. We love to swim and float on inflatables on vacation and we did that but the seaweed that was floating around us while we were swimming made the lake experience less than desirable. As you walk into the lake once you get to waist deep, the bottom is covered in weeds as well.
