With access to all the Canadian Lakes amenities, this home allows you to swim and kayak in Lake Laura, golf at the many local courses, tennis courts, pool, gym, hot tub, nearby beaches and lakes, explore local wineries and ATV/snowmobile trails. Come home to a relaxing house with a bonfire pit, card table, kid's games, and plenty of space to sleep everyone comfortably.
The space
This 2000 sqft home has 2 fireplaces, two large decks, a large dining area with a table for 6, and a countertop for additional seating. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a private bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has two queens, a twin bed, and a private bathroom. A fold-out couch is in the living room. A couch and queen-sized air mattress are in the family room with a wood-burning fireplace.
You will love this home in the summer because of Lake Laura, and its private beach, which is just a short walk away. The lake is perfect for swimming, or you can take our kayaks and beach toys and enjoy a day at the lake. Just be sure to wear a life vest. Just down the road from Lake Laura is a workout center, tennis courts, the Royal Golf course, and clubhouse. You can golf at Tullymore, Saint Ives, and other courses in the area.
In the fall you will enjoy the scenic changing colors of the trees in the woods surrounding this secluded property. Relax outdoors by a warm fire and roast some marshmallows. You will be amazed at the starry night sky. Take a color tour around Northern Michigan, stop by The Winery at Young Farms just down the road, and come back here to unwind and cookout on the Blackstone Grill.
In the colder months, this area is transformed into a winter wonderland. Deer and other wildlife travel through the woods surrounding the property. Snowmobile trails, ski hills, and Soaring Eagle Casino are close by. You will enjoy the tranquil, serene views of the woods blanketed in snow while resting by a fire in the peace and quiet of the area during the cold, winter months.
Note: Guest fees for indoor and outdoor pools and gym area are 5 dollars per person over 6 and 3 dollars per person under 6 for daily passes.
We supply 2 rolls of paper towels in the kitchen and 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom per stay. Please just let us know if more is needed and we are happy to accommodate.
We drain and scrub the hot tub between each guest. Due to this, if you are checking in on a day a guest checked out, the hot tub may not reach optimum temperature until the evening.
There is a single ring camera facing the driveway which is only used to monitor the property when it is vacant.
You will have access to the entire house and property.
Other things to note:
The queen bed in the family room is an air mattress.

Super cute cabin. Fully stocked and accommodated 14 of us wonderfully. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Communication was great and the hosts were flexible and very nice! Would definitely recommend!

First of all great host. He was quick at responding and communicated well. The stay is in a wonderful location. Covered in beautiful sceneries. Very spacious, lots of bed, amenities. Lot of games to enjoy your time at the stay. Plus the hottub. You also have access to the clubhouse nearby (for a small fee) which has pool, restaurant and gym. Overall wonderful place, and I highly recommend the place.

Beautiful area and lots of space for a big family. We especially loved the hot tub. Kirk was very easy to get ahold of and responsive. It was a nice stay.
