About this house rental
This home overlooks the marshlands of the Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge takes advantage of unparalleled views. Numerous decks, a screened porch and large windows afford a picturesque vantage. The upper level features an open living and dining area with large kitchen. With plenty of counter space, a center island with seating and adjacent dining area, the kitchen promises to be the central gathering spot. The living area equipped with a sectional sofa and large flat screen TV will be the place to enjoy a movie. This floor also has a large powder room. The lower level has three bedrooms. The master with a King bed has its own bathroom. The other two bedrooms, one with a Queen and one with a set of Twins, share a full bathroom with tub/shower combination.

All guests must supply their own sheets, towels and beach towels or OPT in for our linen rental package.
Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage, or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This amount will not be reflected in the quote amount on VRBO.
.The property must be occupied for the entire rental period by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement (Responsible Guest), and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Responsible Guest. The Responsible Guest must be at least 25 years of age. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental where the Responsible Guest is NOT the legal guardian/parent of any other guests), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age.
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards and eChecks for your initial deposit. We also accept personal checks for final payments. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card. You will be provided a link to a Guest Portal where you can securely make your payments online.
VRBO BOOKINGS: This property is hosted by the management company noted as Owner on VRBO. After booking the property you will be charged a booking fee by VRBO. ALL other fees and the rental amount will be charged by the management company and paid to the management company. Once you have booked you will be contacted by the management company and sent a Lodging Agreement that must be signed. Apart from Damage Protection, all fees associated with the booking are displayed in the VRBO booking.

My family of 3 plus our dog had a wonderful week at 2809 Bayshore. The home has beautiful views of the bay and the nature reserve. The house was clean, comfortable and well decorated. We fished and kayaked from the private dock and enjoyed the short walk to the beach. Our dog will miss running on the beach and chasing the birds. We took a few trips to the cute town of Lewes for dinner and shopping. Perfect family vacation.

Love the seclusion of Broadkill. The lovely views of the marsh and the easy access to the beach were enjoyed. Sunsets and birds are favs. Running, walking, sunning, reading, cooking, talking were enjoyed by all. So clean, so comfortable.

This is a beautiful home, very well appointed, with stunning views of both the marsh/nature preserve and the bay. The owners provide detailed instructions and information about local amenities and history, and a well-stocked kitchen. There is easy access across the street to the beach, which is quiet and clean. We are looking forward to returning next year.

We want to let the family who owns this peace of Broadkill know that we are truly grateful and blessed to have been able to relax here for a little while. With such a beautifully styled and adequately equipped home it was just the healthy break we needed. My favorite part of the home is top front porch at sunrise and back porch and deck for every other time- esp. meals!!
