The location very good. 15 min to Syracuse city center or oldtown peninsula Ortigia. Silence and nature.

Spacious, nicely decorated and well-equipped house with lovely garden and terrace. Plenty of cupboard space in the two bedrooms and an excellent shower. The house was very quiet with just a little noise from the odd barking dog and neighbours when they were in their garden. The house stayed very cool despite the heat outside. Great place for relaxing on the loungers under the shady tree or on the large terrace. Spaggia Aranella is easily reached by car in about 15 minutes. The sandy beach has a private lido area (€10/day for umbrella and two sun beds) and free public area. The water is clean and good for swimming. The nearest supermarkets are in Syracuse about 6 Kim’s away, so a car is definitely needed. Carlo met us at the property on arrival and gave us an extensive introduction to the place. Communications were very good.

The private road to the property was very bumpy and full of potholes, as were all the roads in the area. It made driving to the house quite an unpleasant experience.
