About this villa rental
Amazing villa with a swimming pool and solarium, surrounded by an exotic palm garden and a few steps away from the seaside of Siracusa.
Villa Arenella is a beautiful villa surrounded by a palm garden, a solarium and a wide swimming pool with a diving board. Outside, you will find a veranda with wooden tables and wicker chairs for enjoying cocktails and moments of relaxation in the evening, as well as a terrace with a view of the surroundings.
Our villa comes with two double bedrooms, a twin one and finally a top-floor room with a double bed and two single beds, that gives access to the wide terrace with a view.
A toilet and two bathrooms with shower are available, in which one is upstairs, while on the ground floor, a welcoming and bright living room with fireplace and TV will let you relax by looking at the veranda outside.
Villa Arenella is the perfect choice for your holidays: indeed, a paradise.

For lovers of relaxation and the sea, eastern Sicily and the area surrounding Syracuse offer everything one could wish for. Starting from the ancient Greek city and heading south, the best-equipped and most beautiful beaches to explore are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella, and Fontane Bianche, whose name derives from the natural freshwater springs and the particular white color of the sand. On the island of Ortigia, you will also find equipped solariums (Zefiro and Nettuno) and a small free beach called Cala Rossa. Further south, some 30 km away, we find some beautiful unspoiled and inaccessible beaches, including Calamosche, Vendicari with its Natural Fauna Oasis, and the beautiful San Lorenzo. For culture enthusiasts, the Greek theatre of Syracuse and the entire archaeological park with the Ear of Dionysius, a cave carved into the limestone in the shape of a human ear, the Paolo Orsi museum, and the Latomie dei Cappuccini, as well as Ortigia itself with its historical and cultural beauty as well as its landscape, are worth a visit. Not to be overlooked is Noto, the seafront with the tuna fishery of Avola, and finally the seaside village of Marzamemi. The airport of Catania Fontanarossa is about 60 km far away, while “Comiso Pio la Torre” airport is 110 km away. The train station of Siracusa is 1 km away from Ortigia, as well as the inter bus station connected with the airports.

The best parts about this villa are the location, the huge pool and the outdoor spaces. The sea is really near, and you can swim off the rocks in stunning water. We loved the fresh fruit and vegetable market nearby. The pool really is outstanding and we loved the convenience of the little huts at the end of it. The house itself is ok - it needs some modernisation and work done on electric sockets and so on. We encourage you strongly if you hire this villa to ensure that the owners provide a secure safe to lock up your valuables, as unfortunately the house, due to its wooden shutters and window frames can easily be broken into. The owners know this is an issue.

A great stay at a great villa. We were a party of 8 adults and 2 small children and all loved our stay. The outside space is fantastic with multiple areas to sit out in the sun or shade. The garden is green and beautiful. And the pool is large, clean and inviting. The host was responsive and helpful before we arrived and arranged two cots for the small children. All in all we are very happy guests. Thank you

This is a large well equipped villa with the most spectacular private pool and garden which is regularly serviced. Clean villa, lots of space and host helpers of host very friendly and helpful. Peaceful and lovely. Easily sleeps 8-9. It is near Lido Arenella beach which is nice, if a little careworn. Beach at Vendicari Nature Reserve stunning (40 mins). Or drive (you definitely need a car) to the exquisite Baroque towns of Noto (30mins) or Ortigia in Siracuse (15mins). Fontane Bianche beach is fantastic . Host friendly and organised. Many thanks.

The outer area with the gigantic pool and the near by sandy beaches are amazing. The supplies in the house, and the general quality of the house needs an update with new outdoor furniture, madrasses, kitchen cookware etc. The garden, the pool and the house looks stunning and you find your way to downtown Syracysa in less than 20 minutes. If you plan to stay more than 6 people make sure that you have sufficient outdoor furniture for your amount of people.
