The place is really nice the owner Mike and Laurie are so easy to contact. We know that they have property management, we got confuse with the check out time, VRBO is 12pm but to Railey is 10 AM I sent an email to clarify it but no response called them too the same, the garbage bin is almost full when we got there, good thing there is someone to answer me where to put it. Our stay is really amazing, aside from the part contacting the property mngr

Our three generation family group had an excellent time at Exceeding Expectations. The house is in an convenient location - near the state park beach area and nature center - and within a very short distance of restaurants, grocery stores, and lake activities. The house has plenty of space - arranged on multiple levels - and features a swimming pool (indoor) and hot tub. The main floor has a large seating area and huge table. The kitchen was perfect for a large group - two dishwashers and two refrigerators. The house was clean and the pool/hot tub are checked daily by the rental company personnel. Communication with host was prompt and helpful. She provided us with many suggestions for activities and special experiences for all different ages in our family group.Exceeding Expectations was the perfect place for our group. We had fun together and made memories we will all treasure. We look forward to a return trip.

We had an amazing stay at this house—it was perfect for families! The pool, hot tub, and pool table were a huge hit with everyone and kept both kids and adults entertained the entire time. The location was great too, with just a short walk down to the lake, which made it easy to enjoy the water and beautiful views. In the evenings, we loved gathering around the outdoor fire pit to relax and spend time together. This home truly had everything we needed for a fun, comfortable, and memorable family vacation. Highly recommend!

This was a great way to spend a week. Some in our group ventured out but half of us never left! Private, comfortable pool, tons of space on the decks… we usually watch a bunch of TV but we never turned one on here. Laurie did great with our requests, quite a mind for customer service. Though I never liked interacting with the Riley, I will say that when a smoke detector 25’ up a ceiling started chirping at midnight one night, there was someone there pretty quick with a big ladder to solve the problem. I would be happy to return, but may try check out Laurie’s other property instead!
