About this cottage rental
The Red Loon Cottage is perched at the head of beautiful, pristine and desirable, Hobbs Pond. Swimming, fishing and boating await your arrival. You will be awed by the cry of the loons and the siting of eagles and osprey diving for their dinner. Hobbs is one of the most sought after lakes in the area as its proximity to Camden, Rockport and midcoast Maine. World class restaurants, galleries, shops, and museums are only eight minutes away. A short 10 minute walk will bring you to the center of Hope, where you will find Hope General Store, featuring delicious pizzas or fresh deli sandwiches and ice cream. The cottage is central to great biking and two hiking preserves are minutes away. It has a generous lawn to play games on and a fire pit to cook your smores over. The cabin was amazing, the view was unbelievable and we enjoyed every minute of our vacation. The location was great. We went to Camden and Rockland for shopping and coastal meals. I would definitely stay here again and again. It's a true Maine experience and that is coming from someone that was born and raised in Central Maine.

Eliza's place was so lovely for our family of 3 with a small child! It's a perfect location to relax and also explore midcoast Maine.

The place was warm and welcoming with lake views that were over the top beautiful! Sitting at the firepit looking at the lake hearing the loons and wolfs howling was timeless.. It rained a few days but gorgeous even then

A classic Maine cottage on a lovely little lake. The kids loved swimming near the dock and paddling in the kayaks.
Hope is a great little town and it was lovely to be so close to Camden.
