We loved our stay at loon cottage! We had 2-13 year olds, a 1 year old, and a small dog. It was great. The house was very well stocked, it even had a baby gate for the deck. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. The beds were comfortable and the sheets soft. We needed up playing a lot of cards together, swimming, paddling around the lake and going into town. We will definitely be back. The host was super friendly and had no problems with us getting here later than expected.

This was a lovely cottage with everything we needed. The front porch/deck was fabulous and great for gazing out over the pond and for watching the resident chipmunks. We enjoyed the canoe and having a private dock/float just down the slope from our cottage. The house seemed very well stocked and the kitchen had all we needed. It felt very private with trees on all sides. I appreciate the easy check-in and check-out procedure, too! The communication with the host was easy-peasy and all in all, made for an extremely smooth and carefree experience. We loved our time at Loon Cottage!

The cottage is cute and exactly what we wanted but, we had a 97 year old with us and the walk way wasn't really safe for him. Linens were in short supply. We ended up at Walmart to buy more towels. The swim ladder was broken and the grill spilled grease all over one of our kayaks.
