About this house rental
This 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom family- and pet-friendly beach cottage is located on Moody Beach, a private beach. This means you are just steps away from catching a wave, enjoying smores and a bonfire under the stars, or watching the sunrise from cozy spot on the sand.
Renters will find a gas grill, and a convenient outdoor shower to rinse off the sand.
Please note that the cottage is subdivided into two separate units (side by side, divided by a wall), each with separate entrances and living spaces. There is a shared laundry room in the basement.
Similar to most cottages on the beach, the minimum rental length in high season is one week (Saturday to Saturday).
The 5th large lower level bedroom is the only bedroom without direct heat so it can be a bit chillier September+ but space heaters are supplied.

Great house! Could have been cleaner, and needs some updates. But for the most part it was fine. Right on the beach with a nice patio. The people beside us were great in both sides. The ones in the house with us were very helpful. I hope we can be beside them again. The downstairs is damp so use the dehumidifier!

After 20 years of summer visits, this was our first fall visit to Wells Beach...We had amazing long weekend at this property! Our extended family of 9 found this property to be clean, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The location can't be beat, and there was plenty of oceanfront seating for the older folks that were a little unsteady actually walking onto the beach. The outdoor firepit was a lovely addition during the cool October nights that we visited. The kitchen was no-frills, but had everything that we needed to do some simple cooking, and the full size fridge and additional beverage fridge had plenty of space for our food and drinks. We found the mattresses to be comfortable, and there was plenty of drawers and closet space available in each of the bedrooms. We can't wait to come back!

Million dollar location on a million dollar beach! Walk out the door and put your toes right in the water. Sun, sand, surf right at your door, and great seafood minutes away. Do yourself a favor and get takeout from Wells Beach Lobster Pound and eat at the picnic table in the backyard with the surf breaking just feet away!
