About this house rental
Welcome to Ocean Ave! This stunning home sits on Moody Point in Wells and overlooks the Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge and salt water marsh. Just a quick 10 minute walk to Crescent Beach or Moody Beach. It is recently updated with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. It can comfortably sleep 15 people. It features a heated inground pool, basketball court, fun games in the walk out basement, and so much more! The first floor offers a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, sunroom that over looks the pool, bedroom with queen bed, and a full bath. The second floor has the master bedroom (King bed) with a balcony overlooking the pool with slight water views, a bedroom with 1 queen bed, and a bedroom with 2 bunk beds (4 full size beds) and a twin bed. Walk downstairs to the finished walkout basement to find a ping pong table, plenty of board games, couch/tv area, and wet bar area. Please note that this property has air conditioning in the two upstairs bedrooms as well as the first floor living space. This property has all you need to enjoy a vacation on Maine's coast! All Coastline Vacation Rentals are stocked with a starter pack of paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, dish soap, hand soap, sponge, and more essentials! Maximum of 4 parking spaces. No parking allowed in the garage. Provided are 4 adult bikes and tire pump. Please bring your own helmets. There is a public beach with lifeguard and parking 1/2 mile away. The Wells trolley, located 1 block away, runs on a regular basis (kids ride free!). Easy access to all southern Maine coast, including Ogunquit & Kennebunkport. Pool Info: The pool is heated via a roof top solar array and a salt system is used for the water purification. Pool toys are available onsite. The pool will be open Memorial Day weekend for the 2026 season!

This is our second year of what we hope will be a yearly tradition. The space is amazing and gives room for people to spread out or be together. The location is great for walks, beach days or just hanging by the pool.

This was our 5th summer renting at the property and it was wonderful, as usual! The pool was clean and warm. Lots of space for our extended family of 9 people. Every year that we return there are thoughtful improvements made to the house. We’ll be back next summer!

1. Experience was excellent.
2. Dehumidifier pan on 1st level (by bar) seemed to fill with water often (2-3 times/day) & had to be manually emptied.
3. Tried to clarify via phone the day of pool cleaning. Tried @ 8am on Thursday but no one answered. Tried again & got answering service rather than representative at phone number listed in “Welcome” message. Explained situation to message service (a posted typed notice by 1st level exit door said Pool service was on Saturday). Requested clarification. At 10:30am NO clarification had been received so rather than phone “service number” I phoned “sales/reservation” number & immediately got a person who could answer my question/concern. Person I spoke with said they either had not received or had not read messenger service message. Person (a male) did clarify the “pool cleaning date”. Thank you.
I sincerely hope that responses to “service requests” will, in the future, be as responsive as calls to “sales/reservation”. Thank you for a great accommodation.
