About this apartment rental
Cozy apartment in Lucca with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Easy to reach by car. Aircondition and Wifi. Large private terrace for relaxing and outdoors meals.
The apartment is located just outside Lucca's ancient city wall in an older building, on the quaint street of Borgo Giannotti with various small shops like delicatessen, greengrocer an bread shops right outside the door. In a few minutes you walk into the city center with restaurants, shops, bars and attractions.
You can drive by car to the door, something that is not possible if you stay inside the walls. If you are traveling without a car, you will find both a bus and railway station within a short distance. For example, by walking on the wall.
The apartment is on the first floor and consists of:
Living room with kitchen corner (fridge, freezer, gas stove, micro, dishwasher, American coffee maker, kettle, toaster), dining table, sofa and tv.
Along 2 steps you reach the sleeping area with a double room and a bathroom with shower.
From the bedroom there is access to a 25 m2 large terrace with barbecue.
The apartment has been recently restored and the décor is very nice and bright.
There is air conditioning both in the bedroom and in the living room.
Internet wifi and washing machine.
The owner asks you please not to smoke in the apartment.

We enjoyed our two week stay at the Borgotto. It was comfortable, well located , within 5 min walk to the old town, and in a great neighbourhood. This neighborhood has great restaurants, and everything you may need. Lucca is close to many other destinations, the sea, the mountains, and wineries. The city offers so much and staying at this his apartment made it all very accessible and convenient. Strongly recommend it.

I don’t want to tell people how nice the apartment is because I want to be able to stay again.
The location is perfect - just outside the wall - and the bed is the most comfortable bed in Italy. The apartment has many windows so the sunlight could come in and the terrace is a quiet place to have coffee or a glass of wine. The place is comfortable and quiet, but in a lively neighborhood with great coffee and a bakery across the street.
Having a washer available was perfect since we were traveling light.
Tip: The closest free parking lot is used as a market place on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Lucca is a lovely city and the apartment added to the unforgettable experience.

Nel centro, con possibilità di raggiungere il centro a piedi, con tt i comfort... qlc problemino con il check-in, ma risolti abbastanza brillantemente.
