Comfortable and cheery stay with beautiful view

Wall of windows in main living area made the home bright and cheerful. Clothes washer and huge drying rack. Incredibly hospitable hostess who went above and beyond to help us.

Spiral staircase to basement room might present a challenge for some.

Shiroka apartment

Everything about the apartment was brilliant. Very spacious with wonderful views. 5 minutes walk from various bar/restaurants and mini mart. Area is lovely, as is Albania

Not a fault of the apartment but it's location is on the side of a hill which, for the less able bodied person, would be quite a struggle to get up

Beautiful house with beautiful views

This is a beautiful flat with stunning views across to the lake. The facilities are excellent and the house stayed cool despite the very hot weather outside. The street is very nice and quiet and it is easy to get to the bars and restaurants in Shiroke. Collecting our keys was very straightforward and the hosts were very friendly and helpful.

THE place to stay!

Communication was great from the host, met us outside a nearby supermarket and we followed them up the track to the property. Handover was great, then the property itself could not have been any better! Cozy upstairs living space with heater, floor to ceiling glass windows, spacious terrace with an amazing view of lake Shkodër! Bathrooms were done up to a great spec too! Value for money would be an understatement.

Heating in the bedrooms was not adequate but not deducting any points as there were plenty of blankets/duvets available to compensate for that. The heating system does not work as well for the downstairs bit where the bedrooms are located.

Superb

It was a big and cozy home right on the lake! It had a lovely view and was the location we were looking for! The hosts were so kind and welcoming! It was the perfect place for a group of friends that wan to be in Shkoder but not stay right in the city! We loved the little lake villages nearby and to go down for a coffee! We would all stay here again. Very clean and felt like home!

The owners were very nice and helped us check-in and find the location. The view is amazing and there is a nice terrace with great views of the lake. The apartment has everything you need and the owners were very kind to us at check-in they gave us some free food and drinks The place is near the promenade with restaurants and nice places to sit down and eat and drink.

A place to remember!

The view, the comfort, the living room and the balcony were nothing short of an exceptional experience. The house was far better than in the pictures and the hosts were highly hospitable. I’d recommend this house to anyone asking for an amazing experience by the lake.

We totally loved the view and the entire villa was amazing. The owners were so friendly and made us feel like home. I highly recommend for all who want to visit the area of Shiroke and Shkoder. Absolutely will come back there.

Our hosts were so friendly and hospitable, and really helped us find our way around. The panoramic view is unbelievable! It was so nice to sunbathe and swim by the lake itself, this place is ideal for wildlife lovers as we saw so much at the lake. Lots of restaurants and a small shop within walking distance if anyone is worried about the remote location, but it is also easy to get a taxi to Shkoder centre.

La vue et l’emplacement sont magnifiques. L’hôte très gentil et serviable. Il y a des chauffages dans chaque pièce. Arrivée tardive sans problème !

Il y avait légèrement des traces d’humidité à l’étage du bas et des petites bêtes. Mais ça valait quand même le coup d’y rester.

Muy buena estancia.

El apartamento es precioso con unas vistas increíbles y los dueños super atentos, nos recogieron en el pueblo porque es algo difícil de encontrar la primera vez. Merece muchísimo la pena.

Por decir algo… una de las camas de la habitación de abajo es muy muy blanda.
