We had a lovely stay at Antonio’s house. He is very friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. The house is very well equipped : there is everything you need to cook and relax. The village is quiet and interesting to discover. I would definitely recommend staying there :)

nice, quiet location, in a real Mexican village

We absolutely loved our experience here. We had 3 weeks in Mexico travelling around by car in 4 states. Now we are home, when we find ourselves talking about our experiences we keep talking about our experience here. It stands out as an authentic experience. We had a very special time. We visited a cenote, lagoon, learnt mayan numbers, learmt about natural mayan medicinal plants and hammock making. Everything was a surprise and executed so lovely. They are such a lovely family. We spent the day learning about Mayan culture. All the family and friends were so very lovely. We will be recommending to all friends and friends. We truly had the best experience and would recommend tbis to everyone.

Staying with Antonio and his family was truly one of the most unique and unforgettable experiences I have had while travelling. It was a true immersion in Mayan culture. We learned so much, and were treated like a part of the family for our entire stay. Taking the tour of the area was an absolute must, we got to see the gorgeous lagoon, learn about traditional medicinal herbs, observe the process of a hand-made hammock, and taste honey from a species of bee unique to the region. I don't know why anyone would ever choose to stay in a resort when you have the opportunity to learn about what truly makes this country incredible. It was easily the highlight of our trip and a memory that I will never forget.
