We've been coming to CB for four years now and have been wanting to stay closer to downtown. There were two couples and this was the perfect stay for us! It is walking distance from downtown restaurants and shops, and exactly what it looks like in photos. We enjoyed the yard and fire pit with some smores one evening and it was the perfect night! Inside the home is cozy and inviting. The large sectional was the perfect place to watch a movie and listen to the rain one afternoon. The tea selection was a nice touch as well. We plan to come back and bring our toddler next year! There is plenty of room to set up a pack n play. It's also across the street from a very nice playground and field for the kids. Can't wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay in Crested Butte. Sasa's home was a perfect launching pad for hiking in the area, and we loved being able to walk into town for dinner in the evenings. Would definitely stay here again!

To start with the positive, the location was fantastic. We walked everywhere-town, restaurants, grocery store and some hikes. It was still very quiet in spite of the proximity to town. The host checked in and was very responsive. The negatives were first of all, there is not lock or door handle on the outside door. The next door has a lock, so it felt a little safer. The kitchen was renovated and well equipped. The upstairs bathroom was somewhat updated and clean. The bedrooms however, had cobwebs, were dusty and the pillows were so uncomfortable. Flat and hard. I think some new, more comfortable bedding would make a big difference.

We had a wonderful stay at Cloud Cottage on Elk. The check-in process was very easy, and the home had everything we needed. We loved how close the home was to the main street. Sasa made sure our stay was enjoyable. We'd love to stay there again!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The location was convenient to town, parking was adequate, the place was very clean, and well-appointed. The kitchen is especially nice, for the small amount of cooking we did. Stairs to the upper level are a little steep, but it’s an older home and has a lot of charm. would definitely stay there again.

Everything about our stay was top notch. We had the good fortune of staying while CB was getting dumped on by snow. The cottage just felt that much more magical because of it! Inside the house: VIEWS!; plenty of storage for unpacking your suitcase, an incredible farmhouse-style dining room table for laying it all out while enjoying the views from its big window; heaps of the best, old school board games; the house was perfectly uncluttered and easy to manage; kids loved the bunk bed room. Outside the house: ACCESS, ACCESS, ACCESS! You’re in the prime of CB. Elk Ave. Restaurants, shopping, galleries, hiking trails in the warmer months—all at your fingertips. The 4-way shuttle stop was a 5-7 min walk for little legs (3 young children), but more like 3-5 min for the adults; allotted parking space in the driveway; great area in the backyard to enjoy (when the snow is not towering over everything!) The Host: Sasa is the real deal. She is available when you need her; pulls out all the stops for you; is so warm and friendly; and genuinely invested in your stay—wanting things to be perfect for her guests. WE WILL BE BACK!!!

There were many updates to this home. The kitchen and living room areas are well suited and updated. The upstairs bathroom could use a few updates. The location is perfect for catching the CB ski bus. Downtown is a quick walk to great shops and restaurants. Sasa was very easy to communicate with and willing to answer any questions. I would book this again.

We loved our stay here. It was perfectly located to walk to the commercial area and farmers' markets, properly masked of course, to walk around the charming town admiring the architecture, and to get to trailheads for terrific hikes. The main floor of the house was delightful, roomy, comfortable, updated kitchen and bathroom, lots of windows. Great for socializing or relaxing quietly. The larger upstairs bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The smaller second floor bedroom was a bit dreary and crowded with a double bed and bunkbeds but of course this allows more people to sleep there. The second floor bathroom was spacious and completely functional though also a bit dreary. Sasa was responsive and charming. We hope to stay there again on our next trip to Crested Butte.

Beautiful small house located in the heart of Crested Butte, on the east side of downtown. Easy walk to restaurants, shops and trails. Quick drive to excellent hiking. Sasa is so easy to work with and made check-in and check-out seamless. She provides so many nice small touches in the house, including having a fresh bouquet of flowers delivered on day one. Would stay here again in a heartbeat when next visiting Crested Butte,

Yes, indeed it was at some point single digit and a few days in the negatives but the warm welcome from the host, warm cozy feeling of the property made it all worth the snow, coldness outside, and the blustery winter of Crested Butte. We truly had a wonderful time and the availability of the host for anything that we need or questions we had made it feel like we were home. This was our first Christmas away from home and were very happy to spend it at a lovely HOME! The home was welcoming and came with everything that we needed. Thank you for being gracious and hope that we left your property the way you entrusted it with us. Hope to see you again!

The house is beautiful, even more so than we expected from the pictures. Spacious living and kitchen area, comfy wrap-around sofa, artfully decorated, super comfortable master bed, hot shower, etc. etc. etc. Sasa is the perfect host... welcoming, accommodating, informative. Loaner bikes with the rental was a huge help for us. Location is perfect, just west of Rainbow Park, walkable/bikable to everything in CB. Couldn't be happier with our stay. Highly recommended.
