About this apartment rental
Imagine your own private little getaway, a haven of renewal and relaxation. A time away from the stress and busyness of life to be rejuvenated. Oversized Jetted Tub with bath salts to soak your cares away. Spa robes, slippers and candles provided for your comfort and pleasure. Close to all the local attractions LancasterCounty has to offer yet tucked away on a quiet back road in the midst of Amish country.
The Loft is a spacious studio apartment located above our detached garage. Featuring unique architecture and plentiful skylights letting in the natural light. King size bed, sitting area, dining area and mini kitchenette with Fridge, Microwave, Toaster and Keurig coffee pot. We do not have TV as we would rather you focus on connection. There is WiFi and a Bose sound system w/CD player.
Dozens of live plants bring their own air purifying magic to the air as well. Also the soft glow of a Himalayan salt lamp adds to both the ambience and natural air purification as well as an essential oil diffuser. I'm concerned about health and purity so you will not find air fresheners or strong scented candles in my units.
More about the space…The Loft was once the hayloft for Ammon’s Amish grandfather whose horse and buggy were housed below. Ammon who works in construction, turned it into a lovely open sanctuary with nine skylights and eight windows.
We are surrounded by our Amish neighbors who you will likely see wallking, pushing scooters or in their buggies using the farm lane directly beside our driveway.
We are just minutes away from many local attractions. The town of Intercourse is famous for Kitchen Kettle Village and horse and AAA Buggy Rides. Also close to the Rockvale Square and Tanger Outlets along with Strasburg Railroad, Sight and Sound Theater and so much more. We are within a few miles of famous Amish cooking restaurants such as Bird In Hand Family Restaurant, Miller’s Smorgasbord, Dienner’s Country Restaurant and Katie’s Kitchen.
The loft holds a King size bed - with an amazing mattress by the British makers who make the Queen of England's mattress!
There are eight skylights in the unit creating a beautiful atmosphere of space and lighting. We also have a large back yard you are welcome and sit and relax in as well as request the use of an outdoor fire pit and our gorgeous new Garden Patio.
And rest assured we strive for spotless cleanliness. We also have recently invested in a quality air purifier so you can feel completely comfortable staying in our space.
If you are traveling with another individual or couple, we have an additional accommodation called The Cottage on this same property with VRBO #667478.

The Botanical Loft in Amish Country was pure perfection!! My husband and I had such a relaxing AND PEACEFUL stay. The host thought of absolutely EVERYTHING!! All the perfect little details and additions of truly being at home!! We soaked in the tub, complete with bath salts, soaks, fresh dluffy towels, a robe AND slippers for two!! We snuggled up in the big comfy chair that was complete with TWO CUP HOLDERS and buttery soft throw blankets. We slept comfortably in the big king bed!! My husband and I have a severely Autistic Non-Verbal son...we definitely needed a night to truly rest and relax. And that is exactly what we did!! OH AND I CAN'T FORGET THE SMORE KIT!! That was so cute and sweet!! Checkout in and check out was super and convenient!! We will definitely be back to rest, relax and recharge soon!! THANKS SO MUCH FOR A REALLY INCREDIBLE STAY!!

The property was perfect. We stayed in The Loft and it was a great place to rest and relax. The host was very gracious and was attentive to our needs. The natural light and the rest of the accommodations were excellent. The location was also great. We were only 5-10 minutes from many places to shop and eat. The host also gave many suggestions of places to check out. Would rate this places 10 out of 10. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely, clean and orderly place, conducive to relaxation and privacy. The plants provide an ‘earthy’ feel that aids the soul in resting.Sight & Sound theater is just a few miles away. Multiple restaurants within easy driving distance. Many places to shop and ‘puts around’. This is the third time we have rented from this family. They have been wonderful hosts and excellent communicators. We will stay again (if they will have us)!
