We really liked everything from the privacy to the space to the view from the deck. The road was very hard on my car and made us limit our coming and going.

Perfect location for hiking and floating! Cabin was cozy and clean as advertised!

The property was exactly as pictured. It was perfect and very clean. All the comforts of home were provided and the host was excellent! Very prompt response to any questions I had about the area as well as anything else we needed. Highly recommend staying here. Great property and wonderful place to decompress and unwind.

This is our second time staying at this little cabin. Is the perfect little secluded getaway. The price is right. The view is great and I love that you have access to the ranches hiking trails as well. We can’t wait to go back.

We were in town for some hiking and canoeing, and the Pine Knot Cabin was a perfect place to rest at night. Enjoyed the seclusion and the views. Also enjoyed being able to wash our dirty clothes after muddy hikes.

Like staying at Grandma's house. Beds comfortable. Heaters in every room. 40 at night, so much appreciated. Very comfortable decor, pleasing to the eyes, even a granny rocker! Refrigerator was totally empty, no condiments. Floors were nicely redone but so uneven that I walked around like a drunk. But we loved the location.

This was easily accessible and still very private in nature. It had all the needed accommodations. We loved this place.

We love staying at this place because it is at the entrance to HCR where we love to climb at. Only thing that could be better is the WiFi, but sometimes it’s nice to be totally disconnected.

Enjoyed our stay, near HCR but unfortunately not affiliated with it so reservation doesn’t get you free access for climbing, hot tub, etc.

Our overall stay was good, but water in the shower was cold. The hot water wasn't even warm.

The upstairs definitely could have used a TV and it would have been nice to have a little table on the balcony but we really enjoyed it it was nice and peaceful a little nuisance with the Asian beetles but it was a very nice stay overall

Super convenient to HCR, and a great property! Will definitely be back!!

Lots of Beetles were inside the house and some of them came home with us and also there was an extremely strong smell from the bathroom. Other than that everything were good.

Everything was great! Only thing is, it smelled pretty bad when we first got there (assuming this is the plumbing). But went away throughout the weekend.

Wonderful home base for a wedding we attended at Horseshoe Canyon Ranch. Very clean, identical to pictures presented. Wonderful deck out back.
Host responded to a question within 24 hours. You do have to drive a short distance down a dirt road to get there.

Nice, clean, beautiful cabin...very private and secluded location with a great view from the deck. Perfect for our rock climbing adventures at Horseshoe Canyon Ranch 5 minutes down the road. Looking forward to our next stay here!
The online reservation process was easy and our hosts were very responsive to our inquiries.
First, communicating with Jamie was great. He always responded promptly. The cabin is well located between Ponca and Jasper right in the midst of all kinds of Buffalo River activities. It is well-equipped with accurate descriptions of furnishings, etc. Very comfortable although the up stairs sleeping room got a little warm for me at night. I opted to sleep on the couch downstairs and have to say it was the most comfortable couch I have ever slept on! In fact, I think I caught up on sleep even though I was out all night photographing the stars. I didn't think I could shoot the Milky Way at the cabin, but at the end of June it was in the right location to do so! It was pretty awesome to just step out the door to see and photograph the Milky Way. It was a great stay and the next time I return to the dark skies of the Buffalo National River to photograph the night sky, the Pine Knot Cabin will be first on my list to check out!

Pine Knot is a perfect place to break away from the business of life and slow down. It’s a great space that suited us very well. There is no cell service, but Wi-Fi was provided, for those that need it. Our group did have to tap into that for a little bit for work - there are kind of three separate spaces that worked for privacy for us - back deck, front deck, and inside. We will definitely be looking at coming back! The proximity to our desired outdoor adventures couldn’t be beat!
The upper room stayed a pretty decent temp during the hotter days; the back porch perfect in the evenings to watch the fireflies, bats, and other wildlife; and the kitchen was stocked well enough to meet our needs and avoid going out. The road into the cabin is well taken care of as well, though the turn around might be a bit steep without AWD.
Can’t recommend this place enough!!

We really loved our stay at Pine Knot Cabin! It had all the amenities we needed as a home base for a fun Buffalo River getaway! We loved the porch and spent lots of time on it in the mornings and evenings listening to the the frogs and enjoying the sunset. The cabin was isolated but easy to get too. Our Camry had no trouble on the dirt road, though I can see how it might get to be a problem if it was any more rainy. It was a little muddy and one of our cars did spin tires a little in the mud. I love how the cabin feels rustic with the beautiful knotty pine, but has everything modern you need with kitchen appliances and Wi-Fi and Roku (teenagers watched movies in the evening). The beds were really comfy, and though the sleeping loft is warmer than downstairs, we were still comfortable and I appreciated the fan upstairs. The washer/dryer were great, as we came back each day with muddy clothes from hiking and swimming. The owner was so gracious! When I let them know that we may have to reschedule because our home in Rogers had been hit with the major tornados and we were dealing with that, they gave us the option of choosing a different date, even though it was after the refund time. We ended up keeping our original dates, and it was a welcome getaway from all the tornado disaster clean-up. We would love to come back again to Pine Knot Cabin! 2 little Notes: There wasn't enough toilet paper provided for our 3 days, and ice maker doesn't work (there are ice trays though).

The location was beautiful. We loved the whole time thoroughly to the fullest extent. Beautiful cabin that is well taken care of.
For future guests, it may delight them if you were to have a can of coffee there with the coffee maker. The upstairs was quite warm too, so a window unit may help cool it off without freezing the downstairs. But other than that, we loved the time there very much.
This was our second time second staying at Pine Knot. It is a great location and cute property!

What a cool cabin! So convenient to climbing areas and very clean. We will book this place again next time we are in town. The views are amazing and we felt like the only ones at the Ranch.

It was a very nice get away. Very private. And secluded. It was everything we was needing for our get away thank you

We chose the cabin based on the proximity to HCR, and we were very happy with the cabin and its offerings!
8.0 / 10.0
This cabin was great for my hiking trip with my best friend. Close to several trails. While secluded in the woods, you can still hear the highway. So keep that in mind. Beds were comfortable but new pillows are a must! It was very clean, however the deck could use a good power washing. I wiped out on it after a rain. It was so slick! There’s not really a yard but a fire pit would be a nice addition if they could fix a place to put it. Don’t copy and paste the emailed address into your GPS. I did and it took me 26 min out of the way. Put Horseshoe Canyon Ranch in and then look for the Pine Knot sign.

Nice cabin just a few minutes' drive from Horseshoe Canyon Ranch. It was plenty of room for our group of 4. Felt nice and secluded and good views off the front porch!
8.0 / 10.0
This was a great place to stay for climbing at Horseshoe Canyon. The beds were comfortable. It was a little hot in the upstairs sleeping loft. They could repair the drive around the cabin. It needs more gravel. The kitchen could be better equipped. Barely enough place settings for 4 people. But I would go back again. It is a lovely setting and a comfortable cabin for 4.

Thank you for the great stay. We enjoyed our visit very much. The cabin was very comfortable and isolated. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.
