Having stayed in many beautiful spots on Faial, I can honestly say this was by far the most extraordinary experience. Every detail, every comfort, and every thoughtful touch made it feel like pure magic from the moment we arrived. Sofia, our incredible host, made this stay truly unforgettable. From the thoughtful welcome gift to allowing early check-in and late check-out, she went above and beyond at every turn. She anticipated our every need, even video-calling to show me how to use the washing machine, and ensured we had fresh bedding, towels, and essentials mid-stay. Her warmth, attentiveness, and kindness made us feel completely at home. The location? Absolute paradise—just steps from my favorite spot on earth, Porto Pim Beach. Cafés, bakeries, restaurants, the marina, shops, and even a taxi stand are all within easy walking distance. The house itself was far more spacious than expected: A cozy living room with two sofas and a TV A large dining room and a fully equipped kitchen (complete with washing machine!) Private backyard with clothesline, plenty of clothespins, and even an outdoor hot shower for rinsing off the beach sand Downstairs bathroom with shower Three comfortable bedrooms upstairs, one with a charming balcony A gorgeous upstairs bathroom with both a deep tub and a powerful shower with instant hot water Strong cooling fans in every bedroom and living room—no need for air conditioning thanks to the smart design of the house Plenty of storage so we never had to live out of our suitcases Sofia even thought of everything for families—cot bed, crib, high chair—and mid-stay, she provided fresh bedding, towels, and essentials. The entire house was spotless, bug-free (thanks to window screens), and so peaceful with friendly neighbors nearby. This was, without question, the most incredible experience I’ve ever had in Faial. Sofia’s care, kindness, and attention to detail made it feel like home… only better.

Super cute and spacious house. Nice area of Horta. 6 places to sleep. Enough places to dry your (swimming) clothes. First house that provided more than 1 towel a person, even separate towels for the beach. And a floating bed for the kids to take to the beach. Very thoughtful!

Not suited if you are very tall because of low ceilings.

Bardzo sympatyczna i pomocna gospodyni. Fajna lokalizacja. Blisko do centrum i do szlaków turystycznych. Boczny widok na zatokę. Wygodne łóżka, niestety dla trzech starszych małżeństw pokoje trochę trudne do rozdzielenia. Czysto.

Apartament wymaga gruntownego remontu. Spłuczka w toalecie na parterze cieknie, trzeba uważać, zeby niepotrzebnie nie zużywać wody.Sprzęty i meble w kuchni stare. Opiekacz do chleba spowodował zwarcie, dobrze, ze było to pod koniec pobytu. Głębiej schowane garnki na uchwytach pokryte pleśnią (z powodu dużej wilgotności powietrza, a nie z powodu brudu). Jedyna patelnia bardzo zużyta. Przy smażeniu ryby odłamała się raczka.
