Apto Barreiro by Susy's Holidays

Une location idéale : vieille ville accessible à pieds et quartier calme. La place de parking. La taille de l'appartement et sa propreté. La réactivité de Susana et ses bons conseils.

What a lovely apartment with ample space for 4 people, everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, the use of a lovely outdoor pool, private parking and very well located near great restaurants and all the local attractions. We used this as a base to travel around Madeira ( our second visit!) and it was perfect.

Nothing! maybe the decor is looking a little dated, and there is no airconditioning in the apartment, but our host quickly provided pedestal fans to keep us cool.

Excellent location, nice spacious and clean apartment. Loved having a pool almost to ourselves. Surrounding gardens lovely and in general a quiet complex. Great laundry facilities. Didn't have a car but can imagine having a garage is a great facility for guests. Easily walkable to restaurants, shops, large supermarket and marina. Only met Susana on check in but very pleasant and also allowed us to check out a bit later which was appreciated.

Bed in main bedroom very hard and uncomfortable. Very hot at night so restless sleep as no AC or even fans for the bedrooms. Area of damage on wall of main bedroom from obviously previous leak in ensuite unsightly. Patio furniture very tired and rusty, also small table and only 2 chairs. As apartment is very suitable for 4 people a bigger table and 4 chairs expected. More wine glasses(only 2)and a few large beer glasses would have been nice and a few more dessert spoons but otherwise kitchen well equipped. As we arrived late a welcome bottle of water in the fridge would have been a nice touch.

- Large apartment - Nice parking garage - Swimming pool - Friendly host - Great location close to Funchal City and Sao Martinho
