The entrance hall is dirty, run down an unwelcoming. Nearly turned round without even seeing the flat! No heating on when we arrived and it was cold.

Terrible service from the host

There is a pleasant view of the town.

The owner failed to send checkin information, or any clear instructions on the location of the property which in fact has a different name to the one it is advertised under. This resulted in a lengthy wait in appalling weather conditions, soaking rain. After an unsatisfactory phone call, the checkin instructions were eventually received by email, but once again they were unclear as the key box is not labelled, and furthermore it barely functions. Rain water was penetrating the living room through the bay window. The owner also failed to give any parking information. Totally miserable experience. Three flights of stairs, no lift, minimal security.

We love staying in this apartment. The views of the high street are fabulous. The location is ideal for spending time in Moffat and the surrounding areas. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need for your stay. It is always very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Moffat. It would be perfect for a family of 4 or friends and couples. We will be back again soon. Thank you

The only problem which could have been my internet and not the fault of the host was that I had to contact the property for the key code. Not a big issue at all and the code was sent immediately when I messaged.

Moffat Visit

Lovely big rooms , centrally located in a beautiful town . The apartment was very well presented and ideal for the short trip .

Lovely comfy stay and had fantastic weather for April

Lovely apartment, kitchen needs a bit of attention and no oven gloves, hall light didn’t work. There were no instructions for any appliances. But overall it was nice.

Very comfortable bed. The lounge is brilliant and in the centre of the town. Takeaways and restaurants nearby.

The location, the size the views. It was excellent and the table in the window was great for people watching.

Was really disappointed in the entrance to the house, and I think you need to tell people about how many stairs there is, 49 to be exact, I’m just recovering from a back injury so really struggled

Moffat trip

Great location and view excellent well equipped. Very nice large apartment.

Dont like to complain, but the thing that lets it down were the sofas very grubby . A shame as the rest of the flat was lovely. Just needs new sofas. It's a little bit noisy ,as on a busy corner, but location makes up for it.

A really lovely property in a really nice small town.

A really lovely flat right in the heart of the small town of Moffat. It was a lovely large flat. The view from our window took in the whole of the small high street. Perfect for our couple of days there. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back. The flat was on the top floor which for some might be difficult, but my husband and I are both in our 70's and we managed fine.

Very clean, cosy , feel at home, tasteful apartment with a cracking view right up Moffat High Street. Well equipped with comfy beds. Made for a very happy Hogmanay. Would defo book again.

Great accommodation for attending local wedding

Owner very helpful and responded to messages promptly. Very good apartment, clean & tidy, nicely furnished and good location in Muffat. Lovely touches like fresh flowers and welcome gift.

A little noisy early morning with log lorries through Moffat. Access stairs - several flights may not be suitable for all.

Location was good, lovely views, very clean and comfortable.

As a keen recycler it would have been good to have separate bins or instructions on how to best recycle. I did text and Claire responded quickly and she was happy to take the glass to a recycle centre :)

52 stairs to ascend to the property, wasn’t an issue for myself or my sister, but my 85 year old mother only wanted to ascend them once per day.
