About this house rental
Our beautiful semi-lake front "LakeHouse" [1100 sq ft] has been completed renovated & comfortably accommodates 6 adults. It has: 2 bedrooms on the main floor [1 king, 1 queen], a loft [1 queen], 2 3/4 baths, a full kitchen [fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, eating bar], a coffee corner with bar sink & mini-fridge, washer/dryer, water cooler [bottle refills are available at the Village Grocer less than 5 minutes away], & Wi-fi. Enjoy morning coffee on our new enlarged deck overlooking the lake. 3 burner gas BBQ It is fully furnished including linens & bath towels. Please bring your own beach towels.
Our home can be enjoyed during any season of the year as it is fully winterized. Weekly rentals [7 days] during July & August [Saturday check-in]. This is a great location for a family vacation as it is right across the road from the water, [50 feet of frontage-beach is a little rocky] includes dock & boat buoy. Please indicate when making your booking if you would require use of the buoy.-1st come basis.
This is a pet-free, smoke-free environment [no smoking of any kind on the premises].
The LakeHouse is the top two floors of the building. The entrance is on the opposite side to the entrances of the 1st suite [Sailing Suite] allowing for privacy. Parking available for 2 vehicles. If you are coming to the area to invite a lot of friends over; our place is not for you-we have limited space out front so no room for extra vehicles.
Owner is on site some weeks of the summer months.
Bringing a large group or planning a family gathering, the entire house [over 2100 sq ft] is available for bookings. Can sleep 10 with the luxury of 2 kitchens & 3 full baths. Details can be finalized by four, zero, three. Five, six, one, two three nine eight.

Check in was super easy. Condo unit was well stocked and impeccably clean. Lots of room for the six adults. Really enjoyed this unit.

The property was beautiful with lots of places to hang out. The house was super clean and very comfortable. The rocky beach was gorgeous and we had amazing sunsets!

The 'LakeHouse' is the perfect getaway for family and friends. When we arrived the checkin process was easy, the house was super clean and we had an amazing view of the lake. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with extra supplies and the beds were very comfortable. Access to the lake is just steps away along with a short drive to pick up groceries. Our annual friends getaway was loads of fun and we would definitely go back. Bev and Doug are wonderful hosts!

The property is truly stunning and well stocked however we were not told that the owners would be onsite until the week of our vacation. The reason we booked on VRBO is because they advertise no owners on site and this was not the case. We couldn’t have even cancelled and got a refund if we choose.
There was a bear in the area that they did not mention to us which is a huge safety concern and was even visited by the bear one night. No where does it state online or in their house rules you can’t have day or night guest and one of the owners made my guests feel uncomfortable.
We respected all the rules and still felt very uncomfortable and unwelcomed. We also somehow ended up with a cricket in the ceiling that when I said I couldn’t imagine how it got in their she implied it was our fault. It was not we kept the doors closed. The cricket sang for 4 nights and kept us up for hours in the night. Which granted wasn’t their fault.
We decided to leave one day early because it was uncomfortable. The neighbours are very kind people. Very disappointing since this was our summer holiday. You need to state more clearly if you don’t want guests like us so we don’t book. Again we did follow all rules and were respectful.
