About this chalet rental
If you are looking for accommodation in the Salmon arm area, come visit our unique Chalet. It is nestled in a lush forest on a large acreage that is completely private and offers all the amenities needed for your perfect getaway. The Chalet has many unique qualities, like the indoor life size birdhouse wrapped around a tree and the custom built furniture. Enjoy the tranquility of the fireplace and hot tub. We are located 15 minutes from Salmon Arm and 15 minutes from Enderby. We are also minutes from the Larch Hills X-Country ski area which offers four seasons of activities including X-country skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking, hiking, and horseback riding. Come and partake in all the activities the north Okanagan and Shuswap have to offer while coming back to a quiet and comfortable cabin in the woods. We offer a unique getaway that you are sure to remember for years.
There are three bedrooms, two have queen size beds while the third is a life size birdhouse that has two single beds made for kids. Outside the chalet we have what we refer to as the Pod, it is a sort of European bungalow that has a queen size bed in it. The pod does not come with a bathroom but is located close to the chalet.
There are wonderful horse trails in the area so bring your horse and we will provide the pen and feed for $20/day/horse.

We were 2 couples that stayed at Bluebird chalet #2 in early March 2026. There wasnt much snow at the Chalet but just a few kilometers away at the Larch Hills Nordic centre the snow was quite good for skiing. The chalet was very comfortable including the beds. We cooked all of our meals and I dont remember the kitchen lacking for any cookware or utensils. Loved the covered hot tub and using the woodstove. Chalet #2 is located along a long driveway that is a bit steep so in winter visitors might need to have appropriate tires or 4 wheel drive if icey? I think small children would love sleeping in the birdhouse but it is close to the kitchen and livingroom so the adults talking nearby could be an issue? I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here during a family reunion in Salmon Arm and it was a great get away. Lovely space, quiet, beautiful lodge with hot tub! The extra outdoor chalet was fabulous for our newly weds to retreat. The bird house sleeping for the neice/nephew made it extra fun. Thank you for an amazing stay, hope to come back again soon.Only down side, was we only had 1 towel per person - need more with the hot tub and showers.Also, dryer was very load.
