Pioneer Camp

The breakfast was very good. The grounds are very pretty and made for a lovely place to sit and chill before going to the airport. The staff were all very friendly and everything was very clean.

Our pre-arranged pick-up from the airport was 50 minutes late. Traffic was pretty heavy but it only took 45 minutes to get to the camp so I suspect we had been forgotten initially. However, the driver was a lovely guy, as were all the staff we met. It was just a shame the delay meant we arrived in the dark and couldn't appreciate how nice the grounds were until the morning. Some food options were unavailable. The chalet was a little tired around the edges but was very clean and the shower good.

Hi , Thank you so much for hosting me. More importantly , thank you for the hospitality , it was quite a challenge to get to the place, it took me almost 3 hours to get there unfortunately and had to pay a local person from the area to bring me . The premises were lovely, so serene, loved the nature vibe, i wish i had stayed long enough to go for the bird watching. The lady that attended to me, the manager, was exceptionally and i mean exceptionally amazing, she went above and beyond to ensure my stay was great, i just love the willingness and effort put in to ensure that i was satisfied with my room and all. Thank you . I cant remember her name, and i am sorry.

I feel as though some of the bathrooms could be cleaned a bit better. I wanted to have a nice bath but i didnt feel omfortable taking one in the tub i had. Looks like accumulated dirt that have turned into stains.

Beautiful grounds, rooms and restaurant. Lovely area by the pool with a bar.. and spot with a fire pit for the evening. They served delicious food and had a good selection of drinks!

Staff was pleasant, they try. Outdoor area very nice.

Getting ice was major undertaking. My cottage was sooo dark. Had to use flash light to find things in my suitcase. Not enough outlets or lights. Could not find outlet in bathroom. Needs bigger mirror in bathroom. No lamp next to one bed. Had to get up in the night and since phone was charging on opposite side of the room, had to stumble around in the dark. Everyone now travels with cell phones that need to be charged. Most women use blow dryers on their hair. Getting there became a joke. Not much you can do about the road but darn it was rough!
