The house is in a remote, hilly side, it is very quiet, you enjoy nature sounds, lots of butterflies (in June), a few lizzards, the olive trees garden and two lovely outside spaces.
The house has a well equipped kitchen, it has high ceilings and it is cool inside, bright and though small, it is confortable for a small family ( 2 adults, 2 kids).
The hosts are nice and helpful, always caring for the grass, the olive tree garden
and the clean space around the houses.
If we will be near by we would come back to this lovely house for sure.
If you plan to reach the house you should have a car: it is at 6 min drive from Citta d'Angelo (must see) and 20 min drive from the beach or large superstores. By foot would be a bit difficult in the summer...
The house has small rooms, appliances are a bit dated, small TVs (but we did not use them after all). However everything invites you to spend time outside, only rest inside.
The pool is shared with the other 2 houses on the address, but guests are very kind and split their time to the pool, so that everyone has privacy.
The airconditioning is payed separately, you have a reading of the meter and then pay per what you consume. We did not have to use it, as it was chilly in the house and the evenings were very pleasant.
The parking is up the hill, I rented a car and was a bit nervous to manage it in the parking space behind the house, but it was just a first impression...
Also at first the rules and the deposit made us a bit nervous, as one might feel rebelious against restrictions and anxious when traveling with small kids, but overall they were common sense rules and we had no problem.
Improvements I would suggest:
- insect nets at the main doors, as it would stop mosquitos from entering :)
- the shower from the suite bedroom is directed wrongly - towards the sliding doors and this way it lets water flow outside the shower cabin.
- a textile cover (like the ones from Ikea) for the couch in the living would be more easy to maintain.

A very comfortable cottage with great facilities, including air conditioning. Quiet, relaxing location and friendly hosts.
We didn't have a car so the 40 minute uphill walk on the road was a trial each day, especially in the heat. There was a hidden charge for the air conditioning, I suppose to deter guest from leaving it running all day, but it came to less than 20 euros.

Thanks to Letizia and her lovely family we’ve spend the best time in Abruzzo. The cottage was incredible. New and clean. Really close to Cittá Sant’Angelo. An amazing pool with unforgettable views. Hosts help us to find some interesting places to visit, they were really kind with us, and made our acommodation was perfect. We’ll be back for sure.
