Surrounded for privacy by a lava rock wall, towering coconut palms, and lush landscaping, Ha'ena Kai’s elevated position, wall of windows, and wraparound lanai capture superlative views of the reef and fringing mountains. With the newly added split unit air-conditioning system in all rooms, you are sure to stay cool after a day of adventure! The home’s open architectural design creates an inviting gathering space while also allowing for breezy trade winds to cool the sanctuary naturally. Additional ceiling fans are strategically located throughout the structure to ensure your comfort yet retain that Old Hawaiian feel. We just completed a wonderful 2-week stay over the holidays. The house was perfect for 2 families and it had so many wonderful amenities (A/C, renovated bathrooms, kitchen and common areas, lots of kitchen gadgets). Most of all, the close proximity to one of the best beaches on north shore Kauai! Beautiful clear waters, views of Napali in the background and NO CROWDS! This our 2nd time near Haena but first in this house, and we will absolutely return sometime soon! Mahalo for helping us create such a memorable vacation!

Haena Kai was stunning and so was the location. It’s a short walk to an uncrowded beach with swimming, snorkeling, and beautiful views (please note this is not a lifeguarded beach and there are coral reefs not far from shore in shallow water. It’s not for inexperienced ocean swimmers, although there are lifeguarded beaches close by). It’s so relaxing you won’t want to leave the area. The house and its furnishings are beautiful, and Lulu was so hospitable. This is truly a special place.

This was our 2nd time staying at this property and it was just as amazing as the first! The home is immaculate and spacious with breathtaking views of the ocean and mountains. What we loved most was that this home was fully stocked with everything that we would need for cooking meals and spending time at the beach. The nearby beaches are excellent for snorkeling, where we were able to swim with turtles and the most beautiful fish! We will continue to stay at this same home when we visit in the future. Overall an amazing experience with great memories being made.
