What we needed was the absolute feeling of being away from it all and that's exactly what we got. The cottage was lovely, well equipped and nicely furnished. All the accommodations are apparently close together but it was hard to believe they were all occupied while we were there. It was lovely to have the garden for our dogs to run around in. We will be returning.

Lovely location but still not far from the main road. The bedding was a high quality.
No welcome pack to explain how things worked and places to visit etc. Also it's the first cottage I have stopped in in a long while where they did not provide you with a few basics like some tea bags and often a gift of say biscuits. More properties in the complex than I realised so if full could be busy and potentially noisy. Night light on the landing would have been welcome. Host did not respond to my query before we arrived

Quiet rural location. Comfortable beds. Well -appointed kitchen. 15 minute walk to nearest pub. One of the EV chargers worked.
Poor wi-fi signal, none at all in kitchen. Freely TV poor on aerial and intermittent on wireless. Should have an ethernet cable to be useful.
No cereal bowls nor side plates.
Insufficient toilet paper supplied. Clock battery needed replacing.
No recycling bin in yard.

Lovely garden and views. Gorgeous little cottage in desperate need of renovation
Bathroom and shower need updating as not ‘fit for use’
Flooring needs updating in the whole of the cottage. As it’s a dog friendly cottage needs to be easy to clean.
