Brand new, built 2016, short stroll to town, lake, tennis courts, pool and golf course. , new queen bed with crisp linens, fluffy towels, comfortable sitting area with flat screen TV, wi-fi, cable and free internet. My wife and I had an excellent stay at this cottage for a long weekend getaway to the mountains of western North Carolina. As indicated in the title of the property listing, the location is fantastic. We wanted to explore both downtown Black Mountain as well as Montreat, and this property is perfectly situated for that. We also were able to walk into Black Mountain to enjoy the annual Sourwood festival and didn’t have to compete for parking. The owner was exceptionally friendly while also giving us privacy at the cottage behind her house. We hope to stay here again!

Very convenient to all of our wants for our stay in Black Mountain. Brenda is a great hostess, so helpful when we needed assistance for my husband. She went beyond what was required, and we appreciate it so much. The cottage is so cute - as my daughter said - Adorable! Wi-Fi worked perfectly. television is good as well. May thanks to Brenda and her friend !

The advertising pictures for the property are misleading. The house is located behind a house on a dead end street. You can’t see the house from the street. You do not have a view of anything other than the back of another house. False advertisement at its best.

This is a very nice place to stay, a short walk from your car to the cabin, you’ll find that the property is accented by beautiful flowers and shrubbery. Very cozy & clean. We’ll stay there again if it’s available.

It was an adorable cottage. It made us feel right at home! Everything was clean and well kept up. It was in a location surrounded by beautiful scenery and fun things to do!

The house was small and perfect for the two of us. Tastefully decorated. Loved the front porch. The host was friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The house is in a backyard and the host works hard on the lovely landscaping. We really enjoyed ourselves. Great quiet place to stay and enjoy Black Mountain.

The cottage was just as shown. Extremely clean, cozy & within walking distance of Village of Black Mountain. We didn’t cook, but kitchen appeared to be well equipped for simple meal prep. We would definitely stay again. Check in & communication was easy.

My stay at this cottage was an absolute delight! Clean space, lots of sunshine and quaint but cozy feel. WIFI was also amazing which was what I needed for work-if you want a respite within a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to downtown, and even a resident bunny in the backyard to see, this place is for you! Host Brenda was also very friendly, courteous and warm, whom I had the opportunity to meet during my stay. I will definitely be coming back!
