ELANGATA OLERAI LUXURY TENTED CAMP

We stayed with 4 families for 2 nights. The location is quite close to one of the Masai Mara entry gates.The tents are of good size to host upto 3 adults or 2 adults + 2 kids. Staff was excellent and made our stay comfortable - especially Peter with his excellent service and demeanour . Also , Margaret was quite helpful in settling some associated issues we had with extras booked via the Lodging .

1. Credit card payment method was not available and we had to arrange for USD cash payment at short notice ( the payment terms indicated the payment would be charged in advance of our stay , but that did not happen using the card used to guarantee the booking ) 2. On the 1st day we had opaque and soiled running water from the taps and in the toilets ( the water quality was better on the last day of our stay though). Maybe because this was connected to ground water. 3. If anyone wants to book game drives / land transport through the resort , I suggest please also have a direct conversation with the transport company owner / drivers before you arrive to go over the inclusions and other details .
