Location, location! Paris at door steps!
This apartment, is much more spacious than the average studio in Paris: 400 square foot. A whole family up to four guests wouldn't feel tight.
Unlike some other areas in Paris, you won't have to run more than few meters to buy your groceries or find interesting shops and a wide range of restaurants.
Great strolls in "le Marais", Historical district of Paris right bank
3 metro stations and 5 metro lines close 5 minutes from front door.
The apartment is located on the first floor (one floor up from street level).
3 large windows on a courtyard , no street noise!
In the separate kitchen: everything you need including a washer/drying for your clothes.
The studio is fitted with a queen size bed in a alcove and a convertible sofa. All linens and towels are supplied also an ironboard and a hairdryer.
There is a cable television, a portable radio/CD player,
WiFi Internet access and free telephone calls.

Location of property: Great The inside of this property: Great Other: To get into this property - think of an apartment building with an outside door that leads inside to the apartments; Our second night there, a homeless man was sleeping outside our door. I notified the owner immediately, at which time she acknowledged that this has happened before. however, the previous family felt sorry for him. Unsure how this was helpful. Our family went out, thinking this would resolve. Nope! Upon my return, someone had tried to break in. The doorlock is metal and someone had slashed the door attempting to break in. The owner was notified. She stated I was over reacting. I immediately moved. I was not refunded the nights stay because I was over reacting.

This is a wonderful location for a short stay. Metro and trains in easy walking distance, close to the Seine, Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and still nice a residential feel near food markets and corner restaurants.

The booking, communication, check in and check out we're all excellent. The location is great for exploring Paris using the Metro. I am more interested in function over luxury and this place provided great value. This was my first VRBO.

1 flight walk up to this simple studio. The street looks deserted by day, but alive with shops in the afternoon. This apartment provided us with the real Paris experience with a close by Boulangerie, Easy access to the Metro, and a person who sleeps on the stairs. The studio was clean & showers were hot. City tap water tastes good here. Claude (speaks perfect English) was charming and made herself available to meet us there for check in.

This flat in the heart of Paris is true to the liating. The host was fabulous and gave great recommendations. It is close to everything, literally 5 minutes to three different Metro stations, and walking distance (within 1 mile) to most of the major landmarks in Paris! Cafés in this area are numerous! The bed was comfy, the sleeper sofa, not so much. Would probably be fine for kids, but adults on the sleeper sofa was a bad plan for me. Overall great experience and would definitely stay here again!

Pros: Great location, hostess super nice. Cons: This is a historical district so building is kind of old with thin walls. It is quiet 5 out of 7 nights, the other two nights, upstairs had party till 3 AM and 6 AM. And also no elevator but manageable.

Paris is truly a very beautiful city. The apartment studio was perfect. The neighborhood was perfect, we felt at home through out our stay. As advertised it was definitely and conveniently close to everything. Navigating through out the city was made easy by the several metros near by. The landlord did her very best to get an adequate air conditioner installed. It was much needed & appreciated. The floors throughout were far from clean. You should see my sox! The bathroom pipes along the floor were filthy. The area did not feel safe as there were many homeless around. Only 1 towel was provided per person. It couldn't be washed & dried in time for another shower. I don't we will ever use VRBO again.

My husband and I stayed at Claude’s studio apartment for 3 nights during the Paris Olympics. Claude made us feel most welcome, showing us in and giving lots of tips for the local area. The area felt safe, clean and very well connected to public transport. There are convenience stores, bakery, coffee shops and lots of bars and restaurants close by. The apartment was clean, convenient and a perfect base for us to explore Paris and get to Olympics venues. Thank you Claude!

Wonderful! Claude was most responsive and met us at the apartment when we arrived. The apartment had everything needed for our small family (2 adults and 2 teenagers). I thought we would use the kitchen more, but not needed with all of the bakeries, cafes, restaurants, and small markets all in walkable distance. Closest station has 3 lines.

We were looking for a reasonably priced accommodation in a good location with AC and free cancellation and Claude’s accommodation met that need. Claude is lovely, helpful and responsive and met us at the property to give recommendations for places to go and restaurants. The beds were comfortable for two moms and our teen girls. We didn’t eat in much but could have. The location was great for walking to see the sites or get to the metro. Overall a great stay!

Great spot for our family. Just enough space for everything we needed, and an incredible location for getting absolutely everywhere in central Paris whether by waking or fast Metro rides from three different stops just blocks away. Beds, pillows, and bedding were all tidy and soft. Cute neighborhood with cafes, a museum is directly down the block, and the host is wonderful. Claude kindly greeted us for check-in and gave us wonderful tips for places to eat and explore. Definitely recommend!

The place is comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. It is at walking distance from many tourist attractions and are metro stations very near. The host is very responsive. The only thing we did not like so much is that the apartment is in a very old building on a second floor and there is no elevator (important to consider if you have large luggage like we did)

Claude was very welcoming and gave us great suggestions for our stay. The studio is within close walking distance to the metro stations which makes it easy to reach all the places you may wish to visit. The only downside was the smell of sewage that emanated from the kitchen sink. I’m sure this can’t be helped with the plumbing in these old buildings but it was rather unpleasant and diminished our enjoyment of the studio. It’s quite an old apartment and very basically fitted out but we found it adequate for our needs.

This apartment was absolutely wonderful for a small family to explore all the places Paris has to see. Super easy walking access to the rail system. The perks of the apartment were it’s ease of access to so much! The only complaint was the sofa bed as it wasn’t great for ailing backs. The host was absolutely charming and helpful.

A caution for seniors with bad knees or backs: the stairs up to the first floor are very narrow and spiraled and especially challenging with luggage. Also a small suggestion to Claude. A pod coffee maker would be much more convenient than the French press.

Good sized studio with just about everything you might need and a super sweet host. We had some hot days while in Paris and got to take advantage of the air conditioner. It also came in handy when people were smoking in the courtyard and we had to close the windows due to my daughter's asthma. Overall, it was a nice stay.
