Mama's Palace Hiriketiya

The staff was absolutely amazing and by far the highlight of our stay, the lady was always smiling and made us feel so welcome. The food was incredible as well; we ordered lunch and it was fresh and delicious. While the room looked a bit different from the photos, it was very clean and comfortable.

On the last day, there were some mosquitoes and bugs outside the room. Fortunately, they stayed outside and we made sure not to let them in, so it wasn't a major issue.

Lovely place and very friendly and helpful staff, rooms very spacious and breakfast on the beach at blue beach was a nice touch. The accommodation is just outside town which we really liked for the peace and quiet at night time 😊 Walk to the beach is easy 15 mins and past all main shops and restaurants.

You have to cross a busy road on the way back, it’s no problem but at night would suggest a torch or light as it could be dangerous

Quite friendly loved it

Staff are very warm and friendly. Rooms are large and bed is comfortable. AC is good.

Location: not great as it’s a bit of a walk from the town and you can get better value staying closer to beach. Room: no water provided, bathroom didn’t smell good. Breakfast: very average down at the beach and staff not that friendly. Laundry: 6000 lkr for 6kg is very expensive and washing didn’t smell that fresh and stains didn’t come out. Overall: builders on site which created a lot of disturbance and mess. Perhaps there should be a notice to make customers aware. Didn’t feel relaxing to stay. Very disappointing because it has potential to be a very nice place to stay.
