Villa Picasso was very private and I felt safe as a solo traveller

Having to maintain the pool daily from flies bit far out had to get taxis all the time

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’espace extérieur assez spacieux, le décor ainsi que la piscine privée. Villa très propre à notre arrivée. Voisins très sympathiques. Cuisine très bien équipée et grande salle de bain.

Nous avons rencontré quelques problèmes d’eau au début de notre séjour. Cependant, l’hôte étant très réactif, celui-ci a réglé le problème dans un délai de 24h. La climatisation est payante dans le logement. Deux belles chambres spacieuses mais la troisième chambre est étroite et canapé-lit dans le salon.

The management company were very responsive and helpful. I cannot fault the management company in anyway. They answered texts and calls immediately. They reply with an answer to all questions. The pool itself was nice. The fridge/freezer was good. The bedroom was spacious. The beds were ok. It was peaceful apart from the residents dogs barking. The pool cleaner is a gentleman. The villa owner did give me a gift over the inconvenience of the WIFI. There should be an instruction manual when you arrive explaining everything, air con, pool, cooker hob, rubbish disposable, possible critters. Your sort of just left to figure everything out

We arrive at 10pm it was dark. We couldn't find the lock box for the electric gate for the entrance and we had a car. The instructions clearly state " take the remote control from the box located next to the pedestrian entrance". So I'm searching for a box near the entrance in the dark and other residents had to come let us in. It was a master type lock box and when I eventually found it half way down the path and used the code to open it, alas it was empty. Now we cannot get out of the complex to get something to eat again a resident had to open for us. We had to park on the street after we came back from eating and haul one months worth of luggage down to the villa (2 trips). The villa keys were in a different location. I did ring the management company and they were very attentive it was after hours but they could not help with the gate remote until the next day. I could not avail of the outdoor patio due to the ants, it just wasn't worth it After dark critters arrived so we could not sit in peace or leave any doors/windows open. Next is the air conditioning, its payable at the property only by using €1 coins, I was not aware of this beforehand. So the first night was extremely uncomfortable. The BBQ area, what BBQ area!! Its a lovely built area but not fit for purpose. It was to unhygienic for use and it sits below a flowered tree peering in from next door so its a fire hazard. I had to request the mattress for the daybed it was missing upon arrival and its not dressed like in the pictures. But is was delivered. Bar area at the pool not for for purpose either. The pool steps are extremely dangerous. The first 3 are a death trap the last 2 seem to have a grip. Very dangerous. Had a leaking toilet didn't report it just put up with it myself. The WIFI went and we waited 3 days for new modem. The third room is really a utility room with a single bed. I was a very disappointed with this as I had guests coming.
