To expensive for the state, it's in. Needs a complete update.

Location, private on-site parking, large private deck, memory foam pillows, bath shower was large enough that you didn't always hit the handle and make the water hotter/colder, or shut it off. It was nice to have a living room. There is a clothes washer and dryer available.

The bed needs to be replaced. It has a noticeable sag in the middle, and the mattress is uncomfortable. No coffee, no paper towels, no water, etc, are provided. Everywhere you turn, there is a list of rules: by the door, in the kitchen, in the bath, in the welcome book. This is the second-highest priced property, per night, behind a 5-star hotel in Genoa we booked on our 2-month trip through Italy. As far as value goes, it's in the bottom quarter. The whole place feels unloved and tired. The outdoor table has tears in the original wicker and in the plastic cover that was used to repair the holes. Now there is a sheet of glass. While having a couch is nice, the one there has seen better days.

Beautiful location with easy access to wall & biking.

The terrace & the location are excellent & wonderful. The bathrooms & showers are nice. The upstairs bedroom was airy & light. The towels were lush & nice.

The living room furniture (couch, table chairs) are uncomfortable & lacking. Needs a few comfortable chairs in living room in addition to the couch. The living room lighting is both harsh & poor (dimmers)

Great location but dissapointed.

The location was excellent and good that there was parking.

The shower was loose in the downstairs shower room. Also both bathroom sinks plugs were broken. The lighting in both bedrooms was extremely poor. Upstairs you couldn’t open the roller blinds for more light as they were tied down. The front door key was temperamental and we had to call for assistance as we were worried getting locked out. The tiles in the bathroom floor, the showers and the work top in the kitchen were grubby. For the amount the owner charges, you would expect better.

We enjoyed Lucca and appreciated the location inside the walled town.

The location was great, the space was large (larger than we needed.) The towel warmers were especially appreciated as it was cold out.

The kitchen was ill equipped. There were no fresh cleaning cloths, no salt/pepper or olive oil, no potholders, no paper towels (only one hand towel.) Needed basics. Weary travelers need a little better equipped kitchen.
