Tornese Boutique Stay on Walls with Parking

The positives were we loved the location near the wall. The bus stop and taxi rank were just around the corner. There are also plenty of good value restaurants and bars in Lucca to choose from. The sun terrace for a coffee in the morning. The towels were clean and absorbent.

There was no welcome pack with coffee, sugar and tea. Also a cloth in the kitchen to wipe up any crumbs or spillages. The sofa in the lounge is quite dirty looking, it is uncomfortable to sit on, and only seats 3! Another couple of chairs would be useful for groups of 3 or more. The mattresses on all of the beds are quite firm and we found them uncomfortable, as were some of the pillows. The main issue for us was the upstairs shower cabinet it is needing refurbished. The tiles and the shower screen are black with mould, the shower head is also black with mould and the shower hose leaks. We found that the water temperature and pressure varies. More minor issues - the upstairs bathroom door sticks on the floor tiles and the door is noisy and difficult to open. A soap dish to rest the soap on within the upstairs shower room would be useful. There is also a bulb needing replaced above the mirror. Lastly we only got 4 toilet rolls for 4 of us staying 4 nights and had to buy more in the supermarket.

The location and car parking were excellent. Air conditioning very good. Bedding and towels good quality.

Coffee machine and toaster not working. Lack of kitchen pans etc. no cloths for cleaning - had to buy our own! Blinds on outside of bedroom permanently fixed down so very dark upstairs. Sofa very dirty and uncomfortable

Absolut zentrale Lage in der Altstadt und trotzdem ruhig. Luxus war der private Parkplatz in einem verschlossenen Hof, ganz in der Nähe

The location was excellent and good that there was parking.

The shower was loose in the downstairs shower room. Also both bathroom sinks plugs were broken. The lighting in both bedrooms was extremely poor. Upstairs you couldn’t open the roller blinds for more light as they were tied down. The front door key was temperamental and we had to call for assistance as we were worried getting locked out. The tiles in the bathroom floor, the showers and the work top in the kitchen were grubby. For the amount the owner charges, you would expect better.
